For the past week our kid and us have not watched TV or binged Netflix, but have been just listening to albums. Ranging from Pink Floyd through Aphex Twin, Hawkwind to Justice, Leonard Cohen to Chemical Brothers, Dvořák to The Cure. All sorts! Tonight it’s Gorillaz & Muse. Been fun.

I dunno. The next chancellor of Germany seems like a fascist-lite (or full on) asshole (an asshole anyway) who shouldn’t be near head of government at a time like this. The fact that actual fascists are likely to come 2nd in total vote is just indicative of the power of bullshit populism. 🤦‍♂️

I’ve had a search for this book saved on Booklooker for months. Every time it popped up it was over 100 quid, so when this popped up over 40 cheaper, I dove at it. 2nd ed., linen cover with dust jacket, unlike the later pear book that was a printed cover. Excellent descriptions and lovely pics.

Well fuck. Just got some bad news from the Mayor, but at least he sat and told me direct. Phase 3 of our perry pear project might not have a home, despite having a lease and trying to start a joint project with the council. But I can understand the reasons why, and we’ll try to find a new home.
