From what I can tell he's been out in charge of an app called iceraid where people can submit tips about immigrants for harassment “Intelligence Crowdsourcing and Engagement Rewards for American Intelligence and Defense”, I'm not even convinced it's a sanctioned government app. That being said:

The majority of people who seek political power only do so to abuse it,and there's more abusable power in blackmail than political capital in doing the right thing.There are a couple of selfless hero types in office, but they lack the will to eviscerate the enemy, so they mostly lose to those who do
