I feel a bit like an imposter or that I'm not worthy to be part of your inner circle, as I've not been on here much recently 🤔
Note to self - I must make more of an effort!

No, they will either be eaten by cormorants, pike and otters or suffocated and poisoned by raw sewage!

Sadly it may come down to unfollowing anyone who posts political content or muting them.
Unfortunately most people want to post political content at some time, so it may come down to just following those who post the least. 🤔

It's a tough decision Gary!
As long as you have everything you need to pack them all away quickly a few days before the move? Otherwise it could be a last minute stressful nightmare! I'll probably have the same dilemma sometime this year. 👍

You could also add that four years on Covid is still here and killing people - but governments ignore it!

My sons will be just over an hour away (instead of 2+hrs) along with Draycote (reopening 1st April) and a couple more nice fisheries where we took my oldest grandson fishing last year, so it'll be easier to visit them more often at weekends!

That's true!
The Dove around Ashbourne, along with Blithfield reservoir, are about an hour and closer than now.
The Trent is about 25 minutes to a couple of areas I fished last year for barbel, along with a couple of commercial fisheries.

Once I retire in late March, then we can really get stuck!
Apart from distractions such as fishing trips, and long visits to our son & daughter, etc. 😇
Hope everything goes well for you! It can be a long stressful time 🤞

We're working along the same lines! Have shredded 12 to 15 large boxes of business paperwork & personal statements, etc.
Started in the loft, but have yet to work down, plus some decorating needed, etc.
Working towards a move near my daughter & 2 youngest grandsons nr Notts, in the Summer!

A question that isn't answered in you request for clarification is; What difference will deferring your pension / retirement make to what you will receive at a later date, compared to taking your pension early? The enhanced benefits may not be worth the wait?
You never know what the future holds!

I'm due to retire at the end of March. To both fish a lot more, spend a lot more time with my grandson's, and combine both of these in take my grandson's fishing!

A friend & I did the opening 2 days on there for many years, as you say, it was always busy!
10+ yrs back we were the last ones on apart from 1 guy in Hensborough, we ended up fishing next to him in a blizzard, catching on black buzzers, got chatting & we still meet up and fish with him today!

Sincere thanks for the extra info Rob!
I did join Leamington for a year and fished the Avon at Wasperton only to be told by the bailiff about a big fish kill on the river, which was disappointing.
Jubilee I am aware of as it's near Meadowlands, so spoilt for choice 🙂

The Canal & Rivers Trust must be thanked for creating a great water 👏
Have you ever fished Boddington? I'm thinking of fishing it a couple of times when I'm staying at my sons near Warwick, but have read it's a bit Peggy?
