While i am sure it is truly great and revolutionary and all that, I was offered one for free and turned it down because (a) I am not for sale (that cheaply) and (b) call me old-fashioned but I just prefer an actual pen and paper.

To preserve his innocence ... hello @towno10.bsky.social 😂😂😂

Couldn't remember where i knew her from. Googled and it was Frasier, where she was also terrific.

I'm not sure how anyone could have trouble with the first syllable. Not much margin for error with "Tav"

I know they are brothers. I used to pronounce both "Taver-KNEE-EH", then switched to "Taver-NEAR" because somebody i was getting it wrong. I'm still not sure which is correct!

Needs to do a shift at left back, right back, centre back, sweeper and also right mid for the Full Warhurst.

I was ... great game. Although l couldn't see the the ball cross the line for any of the three goals.

I did. Cracking game.

Don't go, Amanda (and pug dog). We need both of you.

Lots of clubs go for long periods without winning anything and that's fine, but only a couple spring to mind who are synonymous with doing so and only one has lent their name to an adjective describing the ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Quite apart from the fact that the Wigan/Spurs feeling is probably mutual, what has that got to do with Spurs being serial losers?
comment in response to post
Seventeen years is a very long time for a club purporting to be one of the biggest in England to go without winning anything. Outside of the Big Six, Birmingham, Swansea, Portsmouth, Wigan, West Ham and Leicester (x2) have all won major trophies since Spurs last did so.

It absolutely was but an obvious foul in the build-up that went ignored by the officials. More evidence, if any was needed, of a blatant anti-Villa conspiracy.

All i'm reading in your posts are the comical musings of somebody who quite clearly has no idea whatsoever how to analyse statistics. I'll give you this - the number of cards MO has given Arsenal players is undeniably a statistic. 😂😂😂
comment in response to post
I'll tell you what is lazy - you telling easily provable fibs about their injuries in an effort to claim i am being lazy. On the plus side, you'll only be playing once week next season unless you get relegated. They'll be playing twice.

It's only a shit system for people such as yourself who want all referees to apply common sense but also want all referees to be uniformly consistent in applying the laws of the game. You can't have it both ways.
comment in response to post
Kicking the ball away is a yellow card offence. Some referees apply it, others are more lenient. This is a matter of fact, not opinion, so i am not sure why you are trying to argue otherwise.

Duly noted.

It is extremely disingenuous to suggest MLS was sent off for "a trip". He was sent off for what the ref *believed to be* a studs up tackle above the ankle and subsequent rake down the achilles, which is a red card offence. He was mistaken and should have been sent to his monitor by VAR.
comment in response to post
I don't think any of them are infuriating because I don't really care if officials in a football match or any other sport occasionally make mistakes. I never have, even when teams I support are on the wrong end of them.
comment in response to post
I have no idea. But in the case of somebody with "Arsenal" in their bio trying to defend one of their team's under-performing players, I'm going to guess it's at least 0.01 more than I think it should be. I'm just using the evidence of my own eyes.
comment in response to post
*that had to be rescinded
comment in response to post
How can a red card that should have been shown but wasn't be rescinded? Alvarez on Kamara (Villa v West Ham), Enciso on Endo (Liverpool v Ipswich), Martinez on Traore (Fulham v Man Utd). All three from the weekend just gone.
comment in response to post
They're conspicuous errors if your job is to score goals.
comment in response to post
So you're telling me that kicking the ball away is only a yellow card offence if the player in question hasn't already been shown a yellow card for something else? 😂
comment in response to post
Pretty much everyone thought it was wrong. What is your point? As for it being "crazy" - it wasn't in the top three worst PL refereeing decisions last weekend.
comment in response to post
Which one of those claimed there is a conspiracy against Arsenal?
comment in response to post
Yes. Next question.
comment in response to post
Why?
comment in response to post
This is not true. Am pretty sure we all agreed the MLS red was a bad call.
comment in response to post
Rice and Trossard get yellows for it. Same as the Wolves chap.
comment in response to post
One got booked for kicking the ball away and the other - checks notes - got booked for kicking the ball away.

But not so busy teaching them that you don't have a lot of time to spend posting specious conclusions from your quite obvious non-analysis of data on here. 😐
