So, if someone fervently believes assassinating a politician will “save” the country, it’s legal?

The survey report fails to mention that a large majority are unsure which Ontario party can best deal with Trump. Haven’t read all the survey report but there are a series of issues, which don’t add credibility…

Probably only a small % of Trump voters willing to engage in violence. Maybe equal % of anti-Trumpers willing to but belief in cops, FBI, law prevents them. So far.

Perhaps the best response is to establish a shadow department of health, if universities/philanthropists would fund it.

Why Trump started a trade war: to distract from Musk seizing control of the U.S. treasury, firing 000s of public servants, DOJ firing hundreds of prosecutors, IGs and FBI agents, and a looming market crash that Musk et al will feast on and that can be blamed on Canada-Mexico.

Gee, imagine someone with @sethabramsom’s qualifications blocking me for a pretty mild observation. Didn’t know how to block here but Seth does. Admired Seth 4-5 years ago and followed him but one tweet sent him off the deep end. Welcome to 2025.

Jimmy Carter ‘s grandson spoke at the funeral this morning telling some very funny stories about his grandfather. The audience laughed heartily but Trump did not. He takes himself seriously and can’t laugh spontaneously. He never leaves the character he plays.

I may be mistaken but the Canadian revenue generated by big tech companies like Meta and Google are credited to the U.S. GDP, which undermines country-to-country comparisons. AFAIK these companies are paying tax on Canadian revenues to the IRS rather than the CRA.
