Soooooo if you had the chance to take pictures with actual props from your favorite baseball films - maybe even try them on - and all of the proceeds went to supporting baseball kiddos affected by fires, would you buy a ticket? Like maybe a $50ish dollar ticket? And tour the prop warehouse, too?

Had a colleague ask about a possibly anachronistic jacket in a baseball movie so of course I went down the catalog rabbit hole. Here's the earliest portrayal of baseball uniforms I have in my collection. From an 1859 instruction manual for the two styles of baseball - Massachusetts and New York.

Oh nooo my coworker just had to explain to two Korean guests that the game was NOT at Dodger Stadium at that it was actually in Arizona about seven hours away. For a game that starts in about 20 minutes. They had front row tickets 💔
