I'm seeing a popular post going around that Jim Crow was fascism, and that's just incorrect. Jim Crow was horrible, but fascism is a specific form of government that Jim Crow predates. Not all oppression is fascism. And look, I'm not saying Jim Crow wasn't as bad as fascism. It just wasn't the same.
