We gotta fix things, because even if we did evacuate every trans person out of Florida, new trans people would be born the next day. We can't ever give up.

- calling my wife "partner" "is offensive because it devalues my legal marriage" - pronouns are bad because labels are bad - "my neighbor wants to be called 'it'" "is your neighbor pennywise?" - "Making a pennywise joke was my knee jerk reaction so it's fine" What a waste of an hour.

Bat rescue/rehab, or working at a human composting facility. Human composting is really beautiful and hopefully it gets wider adoption.

That's how people become "hardened criminals", so maybe let's not become hardened ourselves to the atrocities of selling ANYONE into slavery, full stop. It's never "easier to swallow", we have let too many things become tolerable already.

Let's also examine the use of "hardened criminal". Consider that the prison system in the US is generally not designed for rehabilitation and even a short term in prison can increase a person's likelihood to commit further crimes that they wouldn't have otherwise.
