The USA has a presence at every single one of the 140+ UK military bases abroad
Meaning the UK is more important to them as they would like to make out it is
If they are removed from those basis the USA is significantly weaker worldwide

If France want us to create a nuclear treaty, it would mean the UK coming away from some if not all they have with the 🇺🇸
Which would mean bye-bye to any 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 trade deal
If Starmer agrees to this and also gets a FREE trade deal, it's a massive win for 🇪🇺 and the 🇬🇧
