Another poll from the UK places the blame of the debacle at the oval office the other day firmly at Trumps feet

This is a little disingenuous Farrukh
She spent a lot of the time talking about how import the reset has been with regards to relations with the EU and that it has already started with defence
And now they intend to build on that with trade

The worrying thing is that this is just the start
Wait until the EU start finding alternatives
The EU is responsible for over 50% of US trade and after the belittling from the VP this week
Is it any wonder your markets have gone to shit today

It might also have something to do with the fact that POTUS and the VP have constantly belittled and gone against Europe all week
Europe, which by the way is responsible for over 50% of the USA trade and GDP
Can't blame them for being nervous at doing business with USA atm

Nope
I think the more than likely is that Vance gets pushed to the front to run for president at the next election!
He will be the most vocal and involved VP ever in order to continue the Trump legacy

Unfortunately, this is not quite true
The USA has a presence at every single one of the 140+ UK military bases abroad
Meaning the UK is more important to them as they would like to make out it is
If they are removed from those basis the USA is significantly weaker worldwide

Unfortunately,it's all politics
If France want us to create a nuclear treaty, it would mean the UK coming away from some if not all they have with the πΊπΈ
Which would mean bye-bye to any π¬π§ πΊπΈ trade deal
If Starmer agrees to this and also gets a FREE trade deal, it's a massive win for πͺπΊ and the π¬π§

N Korea
Are the only countries with nuclear weapons
France on its own has no chance of protecting Europe
With the UK combined and where they are placed, Europe are pretty much covered

All wars that America has dragged its allies into, costing billions of dollars and thousands of allied men
Now America is asked to step up and Trump says "what's in it for me?"
Do we get to invoice America for all of the above also?

The rhetoric coming from the White House leads me to believe that Trump might not actually be an ally
He is pandering to putin and regurgitating all of his attack lines
Its sad to see and say but I don't believe America are allies at least for the next 4 years

Its also not the UK pushing this idea its France so the EU would have no reason to think its devide and rule

It's been proven in poll after poll they want back in
The brexit party lied throughout their entire campaign and should be held accountable

Why don't you offer a free trade deal for Nuclear protection
Both sides win
comment in response to

Ahh, okay, now I understand, lol
I would disagree because with Trump there is always a winner and a looser
This is a win win

TBH, I have no idea who you are lol
So it's more of a case of... Great minds think alike π
If indeed it is an idea you have floated previously

The French are seriously floating an idea of π¬π§ π«π· nuclear alliance to protect Europe
This is a moment that Keir could seriously use to our advantage
Nuclear protection for a FREE trade deal with the EU
Both sides significantly benefit from a security aspect and a trade aspect
