Tbf I didn't want to count the alternative L because he was keeping up with Mark and it was Omniman who beat his ass

- I'm fairly sure all the variants are weaker than that universes Mark unless I misinterpreted the ep

- Which one? I'm referring to Ep 1 and 7, I don't think Mark helped with that one he was busy being eaten alive
- Because he was literally shoved aside and had the bomb taken from his hands
- He was ready to throw hands until Mark stopped him
- Your boss being attacked is pretty necessary imo

- Lost to Omniman, twice
- Gets shoved aside by Mark so he doesn't fuck up an important play
- Rushes Alan and gets embarrassed
- Chats shit about Mark in S3 but when Mark grabs Cecil his ass is silent
- Floored by the Maulers
- Is easily destoryed by GogglessMark
By my count that's 7 Ls

There's been more commercial failures and on a much bigger scale in the last three years than there has been in 90% of the industry. Production costs are ballooning to an insane degree. The future of game development without the utilisation of new tools is more Suicide Squad's

A reminder that Cold War cost $700 million. That is an unfathomable amount of money, it's not sustainable, if a powerful comes along that brings cost down, makes lengthy parts of development quicker and you don't need to fire staff to use it, why not use it?

But you can also use AI for UI, menus, skin concepting, loading screens, story planning, Easter egg step planning, dialogue lines (the script but I guess also the actual lines technically, but they won't do AI voices) and a lot of other things

Rapid prototyping. With AI you can spit out 100 concepts within minutes. Then you either design the ones you like from scratch or if one is close enough to being ready for shipping you just edit it so it doesn't have generation artifacting.

*expensive not expansive

Game development is already absurdly expansive and a massive time sink so yeah I do like a new powerful tool that makes it cheaper, faster and still creates jobs. But you know if you want more Suicide Squad's you do you.

Except they are hiring people, the requirements have simply changed. When they hire digital artists and asset artists they now want people who can use AI. And this isn't exclusive to COD. Larian (the BG3 lads) are also doing it, because it's a powerful tool

They hire people who use AI in their workflow. In fact every company is doing this, like it or not this is the future of every media industry.

The NPCs and player both look fine to me. The game is pretty fun and it's reviewed well. I don't think it necessary pushes any boundaries but I'm only in the early game. Maybe it does more but I don't think it needs to

Also be less fucking stupid and look at job roles at major companies. They want people who can use AI in their workflow, especially artists, sounds like digital artists are still being hired

I thought you muted me. AI isn't theft because their methods of using training data is not theft by definition. 1 lazy advert, as if we haven't seen shitty lazy adverts before but it's the new thing so it's different
comment in response to

Actually big companies are hiring digital artist that use AI in their workflow and they use a combination of digital art and AI generated art.

Muting because you know you're wrong but ok
comment in response to

No because it is completely incorrect. Because training data isn't theft. It isn't replicated or substituted, it isn't distributed and it isn't stored.
