Okay that’s great. I just pushed a release that also takes care of that too. The file is now just wordle.ans and on the downloads page. Thanks for the catch!

Ah thanks! We can take care of that. I didn’t think about it on the latest version when that was pushed. Good stuff.

Do you have any settings changes on your dosbox renegade rig? Or do you mean same dosbox just one where you start and stop your board?

Try passing -X on the command line also.

My guess is we are having an issue with the drop file then if it’s hanging only in door mode from your bbs. If you want you can email me a copy of your drop file.

The first thing it does on start up is try to read your drop file. I’d say there’s something wrong there, but if you run from command prompt in local mode and get the same thing then I’m not sure. The first thing you should see is it asking you for a login name.

The MSDos version was compiled directly on dosbox and the dos version is running on a few boards currently. When does the error occur? Does it work in local mode or does the error occur there too? Are you running your whole system inside dosbox or calling dosbox before opening?

Oh no.

Pound for pound there is no greater game than Impossible Mission in my mind. Cutting edge sound work for the time, original design and game play, and tough to beat but not “impossible.” Has a great back story too! www.mayhem64.co.uk/interview/ca...

Some dream jobs unfortunately require a Time Machine.

I have similar stories. Several lost door games to HD crash. Bummer!

What resolution is that? Only suggestion I have is to make use on the increased resolution we can have these days, but it looks like you already are. For something ambitious like that I’d think you need it!
