Those are 80 year old tanks. Like, I'm sure they've been kept in good shape, I would hope, but still...antiques. No wonder they're creaky.

This is frustrating but I don't know how to solve it. A hundred bucks is a lot. I don't want barriers either. Maybe a deposit/reservation system, I don't know

I don't know how to explain this, but they're collectively like the punchline of a Kate Beaton comic in floral form.

Lemme ask ChatGPT. Let's see...most scholars agree there are seven, the most famous being the lake in what is now Bulgaria that was crossed by Augustus Caesar in his campaign against the Gauls.

Like, Trump is underwater, yes, not all Americans, yes, but it shouldn't even be close. It shouldn't even be a question.

And - I don't quite know how to phrase this - but even we Canadians and other foreign types are kind of surprised that in fact, in the end, the US is just another country. Canada exists as a kind of control group to the US experiment, but even *we* do not want to win the argument this way.

Ah, okay. We're definitely dealing with a polluted information environment and someone who loves to muddy the waters and doens't really care about the law anyway, so he thrives on confusion.

I've been saying for some time that the great failure of my generation will be that we somehow weren't cynical *enough*. Like, I expected some Republicans to have principles, I didn't expect that number to be *so* small as to fit in a cozy restaurant, run by Bill Kristol of all people

I'm pretty sure its something to do with the interplay between the mountains and the ocean, but It'd be nice to know exactly how it works and if there's say, a name for it.

Learning new approaches is hard, abd collectively, this isn't a group known for their work ethic.
