Remember ... ... the whole world was watching.

Trump and Vance await their next visitor.

Quite a show in the Oval Office today. Embarrassing. I am sure allies as well as enemies took notes. Then again, hard to know which is which.

You do understand that Trump might have secured a popular majority in 2024 had his stumbling response to COVID not resulted in the deaths of so many voters.

So ... you are mad about Gretzky betraying Canada while you root for pro-Putin Ovi to break his goal scoring record? At least be consistent.

Every day we see an article about a Trump supporter harmed by Trump's policies. So sad. Too bad.

So what's new? This is how he runs Tesla ... the customers are his test drivers.

The problem is that when you say, "this is not who we are," the incident in question reflects that it is, in fact, who "we" are, regardless of whether it reflects who you are.

No word on when Trump will invite the US hockey team to the White House.

The Trump/Musk policies will cause many Republican voters to turn away from the party when they are hurt by those policies. Voters have long memories when it's personal. Not the losses you can afford to sustain in such a closely-contested electorate.

The 4 Nations tourney was great hockey with unavoidable political overtones exacerbated by USA Hockey management and you-know-who. Congrats to Canada. Now NHL teams composed of players from everywhere can go back to competing for the Stanley Cup. NHL out thought NBA on this one.

There is nothing quite like getting a presidential executive order being sent directly to you. I must be on a list.

So many levels of stupid here.

I am intrigued about Donald Trump's interest in US history, given that he misunderstands and mangles so much of it in repeated demonstrations of his profound ignorance.

Can someone explain to me how the last four weeks will make America great again?

More honorable than Donald J. Trump ... Neville Chamberlain.

Just remember: Even as Donald J. Trump was very open about some of the things he intended to do, he also lied to the American people about certain critical issues and concealed some of his other desires. Some of us knew not to trust him. Some of you overlooked a lot. You can't do that any more.

Perhaps if the US acquired Canada, it can use the Canadian national anthem. Of course, if you listened to the lyrics and heard the crowd belt them out with such passion, you would understand why this bogus action NEVER WILL HAPPEN.

And there you have it ...

The Fourteenth Amendment has undergone quite a workout in the past several years.

Tonight's winner? The New York Islanders. They are safe as the last big four pro franchise in the US to win four championships in a row.

It seems that US senators have a choice to make. They can choose to stay in office as long as possible. They can choose to serve big donors. They can serve their own constituents ... and nobody else. They can choose to do the right thing and make a difference. Tough choices in tough times.

The biggest scandal in American history may be Trump's spelling and his fondness for uppercase when he is throwing an online tantrum. SO SAD!

So, am I to understand that the Republic preserved by the Republican party between 1861 and 1865 is now being dismantled by that same party?

Let's face it: The party of Lincoln, Grant, TR, Ike, and even Reagan has no guts. It's a new meaning for POC ... ... Party of Cowards.

I see where some pundits are raising the issue of impeaching Trump. Because it worked so well the last two times and it has zero chance of happening with Republican control of the House. Just clickbait and performative outrage indicative of political impotence and ineffectiveness.

Blame Trump. But also blame the Republicans who supported him and the people who voted for him. Hold all of them accountable.

So I see that Ye (Kanye West to some folks) was associated with yet another sensational moment at the Grammys. Oh ye of little faith. Of course he was.

No one's grading Utah on how they did in the Lakers-Mavs transaction.

Just curious ... Have @brithume.bsky.social or @jonathanturley815.bsky.social said anything about Musk's people entering federal buildings to interfere with the operations of the federal government?

Someone explain to me why Trump supporters want to glorify the uneven military career of Braxton Bragg, the hero of Missionary Ridge.

One of the areas neglected by Reconstruction historians is a careful examination of the strategy and tactics of white supremacist terrorist groups, especially in the 1870s.

Just a reminder that what they tried to do on January 6, 2021 was just a coarse version of what's happening in January and February 2025. They learned their lesson. Others did not.

Responding to Trump administration actions by declaring that it is "time to hit the streets" (no details, no plans) shows why social media is the home of performative politics where mere posting is deemed sufficient protest. See what I did there?

You would have thought that Yeti would have struck an endorsement deal with the Utah Hockey Club.
