I hate having to participate in this hellish system in order to survive while trying to build a better system.

The stock market is a grift. How can investors continue to reap profits after their investment has been paid back to them? That money comes out of the pockets of the workers.

All profit is immoral.

I grow tired of having to tolerate maliciously ignorant people.

The lovely ice from yesterday.

Yep. This. All. Of. This.

What would it take for you to care about the wellbeing of people radically different from yourself, including people you are repulsed by or people that you hate?

Strive to do only that which is right.

They intend to gaslight you, it's part of how they get their jollies. Don't let them, and don't give them the attention they so desperately want. Watch only the legislation and orders, not the clowns performing. They want to wear you down.

If religious people want religious freedom, then they must choose. Either be religious and stay out of government processes trusting that the rest of us will protect their rights, or give up their religion if they want to be part of governing. They have proven they cannot be trusted to do both.

2781 people are burning down the home of 8 billion people, something must be done.

Mamma Mia, there aren't enough blue shells in this race!

Advocating for the marginalized is not bigotry against the privileged. The sooner people get that through their heads, the better off we’ll all be.

Humans that give up or surrender or never fight to claim their critical thinking skills are little more than beings that are controlled by their surroundings, only ever acting and reacting, never giving reflective thought to their actions, having denied themselves the very essence of humanity.

I'm good:

A decent human does not claim a right for themselves that they would deny to another.

This is actually probably the clearest explanation of what actually happened.

People want to contribute to their communities in meaningful ways. A lot of people would be contributing creatively if they weren't forced into financial stress and low wages.

Rules for a better human civilization. 1) There should be nothing for profit, instead replace profit seeking with pride in one's work. 2) All basic needs must be met for all before luxury can be had for any. 3) Every task that can be automated, should be, freeing up people to pursue human things.

Now that #LowerDecks finale is here, let's get #LowerDecksMovies and #LowerDecksSpinoff trending!

There is no moral or ethical profit.

Capitalist lie #371 Your time is worth less than other people's time. Deprogram yourself, all of our times have equal value.

It is every person's responsibility to work to be a better person each day. Progress is the goal.

I don't know who needs to know this, but Pro Publica has an online thing that will format a letter to your US health insurance company to demand the records behind a claim denial. (which the insurance is then legally required to provide in most cases) projects.propublica.org/claimfile/

If one doesn't want their death to be celebrated, perhaps one should not amass one's fortune by denying medical coverage to others that one would not deny one's self.

Awe, look, someone is feeling left out. 🤣

I'm pondering how to best use this feed for myself. Please stand by.

Just wondering how Republicans deal with the gender neutral bathrooms in their homes?

Today's life hack. Eat all your Halloween candy in one night, then you'll be so sick of it you won't want candy until this time next year!
