This is why I'm always patient with service personnel. It's not their fault and complaining ain't going to do shit. Just be polite and everyone has a good day

Just to be a devil's advocate. If it's just the laid off Fed employees (still not good) and fewer non-Gov't jobs; is that possibly "better"???
If notπ

Horribly bad? I would say it needed more but it was a decent start.

What wasn't written in before is no criminals as president. Modern people have seen enough theft and abuse so if it was written now, it would have been wholly different.

The founders were generally honorable so they just couldn't see it happening. We didn't learn enough from Nixon apparently π€·

Unfortunately, no one could have imagined the absolute nightmare this entire admin is. Now we know and can see some updates being added. If we can keep the cheese dust off our Constitution that is.

The politics of abusing poorer communities and taking money from Education for whatever pet project has a long term effect. This is part of it. People who ask no questions don't seek answers.

Same here. I got to do old school photography & printing, then nursing classes for 1/2 day my Sr. yr. It wasn't the best but clearly it was better than quite a few school systems!

There's always that person who scams the system. F them; I'm still happy to help the rest.
I've been there. It's damn near criminal to be poor. You get ripped when you can't pay everything at one time with extra fees and penalties.

Qualified immunity in these giant cities has allowed way too much corruption from the bottom to the top. Oversight by outsiders may be helpful but bribes....π€·

Anything that's not "them"; whomever that is. Fear is strong when people are made to be suspicious of everyone else. Calling out the truth is more important!

I like that idea but it could only work in a small town? Getting EMT/Firefighter/Police training would be very difficult for larger areas.
Add in some social work/psych training too!
