Found my fandom during the start of Lovie's career, but suffering ever since he left. Waiting for *someone* to turn this franchise around.

Chubb. I don't believe they *need* him, but should ar least give him a tryout.

Sure, but either way I would have to enter something in for search terms bc I still don't know who he is. 🤷🏼♂️
The only people losing out are the vision impaired.

I suspect he'll be a player we slides draft night.

I totally understand your POV, but unfortunately I think the ask is too much for a casual post.
You'll just have to search,"Nebraska Tightend 2025 NFL Draft" or something similar to find out.

In 2017, I absolutely believe he had every reason to complain about the Bears organization.

I was happy about that.
18 is a good number. Plus I got to witness all those people taht tried to get ahead of the jersey number selection making fools of themselves.

Correct. Obviously a trade down is no guarantee to grab any player but i hope he'd be available.

If you're pure evil, would you know it?
I'm asking you specifically bc you're dishonest and disrespectful behavior paints you as evil so I'm curious if you realize it or simply ignorant to it.

You know, the last time someone attempted a Hail Mary against the Bears … actually, never mind.

This was Raymond before Ben Johnson and his second stint with the Lions, with the Titans.
Still not great for Scott...

Raymond is Detroit's WR4. I don't think we have WR3 on our roster, our Tim Patrick/bigger back-up body type.
Honestly, "WR3" will be WR3a & WR3b for this team. 2 different types of backup WRs with special teams value. Though Patrick didn't take any ST snaps last year & hasn't since his rook szn...

Great depth player. Zaccheaus is going to make your WR3 work for his job or Z will claim the job.
Obviously, Z is WR3 until something else happens. I suspect Scott is going to fight for WR3, but I have low hopes for him now.
If Scott can become DETs Raymond, that'd be nice.

I agree. Though, my engagement on here isn't as high. I deleted my Twitter account, but I understand why you can't.
I've been more active on Reddit to make up for the lack of conversation here.

Do we have a breakdown of how many of his snaps were at NT, 3T, 5T, and what not?

I don't understand it for the Texans. I would think you'd want to have Tunsil for your own young franchise QB.

I understand coach wants to be multiple, but what if Jones is only average in a wide zone scheme? Is he powerful enough if asked to gap/power block more?

I'll jump into the Braxton Jones trade discussion.
I am a Jones truther, I believe he's an NFL average OT, similar to Charles Leno the lack of respect the Bears fanbase gave him.
That said, what if he simply doesn't fit into what BenJo scheme?

I'm dreaming of the day a Bears player is on this list.

Yep! Creed Humphrey is just outside their top 5 biggest cap hits.

Their cap will come under control once they sort out Smith's long term deal. Kelce's contract needs to be sorted to create room too.
If they do want to add a player like Stanley, something will have to give with Mahomes, Jones, &/or Taylor's contracts.
How you do that? It's above my paygrade. 😆

I was interested in targeting C Jonah Monheim in the draft. The more I look into him, he's not what BenJo wants. His size is worrisome.
Per Lennox Tate of nfldraftbuzz.com

After the Trey Smith tag, and especially after the Jonah Jackson trade, I came around to the idea of aggressively pursuing Drew Dalman. He's a 3 year NFL starter, at 26/27 years old, which sounds like the organization is looking for in their OL -- veterans.

The center position is clearly still a need. While I like prospect, Ricky Stromberg isn't going to cut it. I could see him being a camp surprise and a valuable assets in the future, he is nothing more than a practice squad project.

I could see them targeting DL in an effort to beef up their depth and find another star.

I could see them double dipping on OT. 🤔
I could see them targeting a tackle at the end of round 1 and see Dan Moore being a target if they miss/don't want to pay Stanley.

Clearly, I made a bad prediction with that & I'm happy about it.
The other half of my prediction is still on the table. I suspect, 2024 2nd round pick OT, Kingsley Suamataia will be shifted to guard.
These moves indicate to me the Chiefs have a FA target in mind: Ronnie Stanley

The most obvious reason, if they're keeping Trey Smith and want to sign him long term, something had to give.
I kept saying the first thing the Chiefs had to determine is what to do with Joe. I figured Smith would be sent the door and they'd extend Thuney.

Would much rather see what BenJo can do with RoJo than add a back with little to no tread left on his tires.

This makes me curious if Sanborn will land with Dallas. I'm not sure what kind of LB needs they have.

Idk what they'll do, but I'm expecting a trade down.

To be fair, Eberflus and the Bears are pointing out that they believe the Packers violated a rule already in place.
The Packers on the other hand are trying to change the rules. When it comes to this rule change suggestion, its soft.
