Thank you, I really love, when his smile looks like a fracture with sharp edges, gives much more feral and predacious feel :)

Thank you :)

I hope, you are doing better now ❤️❤️

I understand, how current climate puts everyone to the edge. In some countries it's been like that for years as well and never changed for the better, stripping queer people of their human rights. But we don't have to fall low and hurt back, just because we are hurting. We can be stronger ❤️

Please don't view my replies as if I am arguing with you directly, I approach this topic strictly from discussion's persprective. Finding common ground with people been too frustrating lately, welcoming with hatred just doesn't help either and it hurts to see authors being bullied off the platform 💔

What if we imagine it being their first interaction and getting this type of backlash and demands? Calling it "weird" is the most soft word one could come up with in a situation like that. Honestly, the way people are on the edge to just jump and harass a person - is rather concerning.

I will post reply as a screenshot due to the words limit. I don't see their actions as intentionally disrespectful, especially taking apology in mind. I strongly believe, any person should get a basic human respect, regardless of their background, yet it feels, like nobody gave this artist a chance.

Unless the person openly admits being against queer community and all that comes with it, we have no business in what they choose and choose not to draw.(4/4)
comment in response to post
I speak from the position as someone, who wouldn't draw same-gendered pairs at one point, because I couldn't portrait it as sincerely, as I would want to, therefore cashing out on subject's popularity would just feel ingenuine and hypocrite.(3/4)
comment in response to post
Failing to see that and jumping straight to the conclusions, makes your actions look without tolerance and understanding towards a person you don't know, the very things queer community demands from others. That's simply disrespectful in a scenario, where artist even apologized for this. (2/4)

Sorry for jumping with personal opinion, just here to give another perspective. "Because you think we're lesser?" Now you are just putting your words in their mouth. One can enjoy queer content, yet choose not to draw it for personal reasons and they doesn't have to be exclusively queerphobic. (1/4)

If were to match original framing.

Hehe, I understand, I adore his legs too 😁 Thank you ❤️

Hehe, thank you. With Lucifer screenshot redraws I am trying to comprehend the show style, but giving the artwork something of mine as well, such as different body proportions. Mainly I just train to draw his face. With Alastor on the other hand, I had a year to deviate from the show style
comment in response to post
Thank you 👀 I think I've been always pulled towards deities and such, my personal lore follows them quite closely. I guess Lucifer scratches the same itch of comfort in solitude, admiration and discoveries for me, whereas Alastor is more of like swimming with the shark, willingly 😄

I am still baffled how he was ruled out in that vote XD Viv said it's cuz he's more of a theatrical kid (literally Jeremy Jordan, lol), thus it's rather an act of play, instead of purposeful behavior? I guess his inner nature is much more gentle, vulnerable and caring, rather than naturally cunty.

I'm afraid I have only depressive stuff coming

Glad it brings you joy! :) I ponder on maybe reworking the lines a bit and fully color it to match the screenshot. Will think on this idea, cuz it would be neat to have a rendered version

Well, now I can't unsee it XD

If only I had strength to depict it all as a comics 😄 So had to cram all the angst in one picture, haha ❤️

Eh?

Gotta live for the angst! 😁❤️

It's my favorite part as well ^^ It was either this, or her whole body being caged by the antlers from both sides, as he couldn't get near her with his face due to the sheer antlers size, grinding the floor. But I might come back to the second idea at some point, just visually so interesting to me ✨
comment in response to post
The grip on the antlers was one of the main reasons for this drawing to exist XD I wish I showed a bit more struggle from her side, but it was hard to translate it at this angle and with body being covered in clothes. Thank you so much ❤️❤️

With short words - his exhaustion and sleep deprivation, as well as uncanny nature of his obsessive feelings, that he never truly processed nor understood (love is hard) - found an outlet in form of gastronomical interest towards her. He tried to rip her apart and eat

True, half of the time we learn how to use the tools. Thank you! ^^ I was like "I could render like that all along?" Since it took me what, 4-5 pictures inbetween to finally get a grip at this workflow XD

With that we are all caught up with my posts on X. Now the upload speed will resume to normal :)

Close up. And this is why you shouldn't feed your local deer, I guess.

What 2024 actually gave me in terms of rendering - more confidence in using my new discoveries of 2023. Now I can keep rendering on top of fully merged image, I no longer restrict myself with the layer structure "flats - shading - lineart". Half-painterly style really grows on me 😄
comment in response to post
What I am trying to say, I was capable of more detailed rendering, just didn't know how to utilize those skills as I wanted and apply all of it. Fanarts help to think out of the box and allow to use and apply my actual skill in new scenarios. Example from Apr to Dec of 2023 :)
comment in response to post
I think my anthro art shows better evolution of rendering year by year. The first art here essentially was a test to find my own style within HH, so it's basically just a bit rendered sketch. The redrawed version is my current more though out artstyle for HH fanarts, including more proper rendering.

Thank you~ Yeah, she got an extremely rough start, pretty much hitting her with existential crisis right upon creation. Her parents can't really ease what she feels either, so she has a tough journey and decisions ahead of her
comment in response to post
She is not, and I won't take lightly any insult towards my characters, even if it's just a joke. It's a scenario, where Hell is alive (which isn't far from canon) and actively rejects its habitant, thus she doesn't experience "out of nowhere paranoia".

Framed version, instead of a strip.

It's one of my favorites as well, thank you 😁 He is just both so menacing and elegant, and it's rarely, when I can stylize him in a way, that would satisfy my vision
