What's so impressive about Exp. 33 is not only how they chose exactly the right things to borrow from other series, but how they improve upon most of it too, like the m̶a̶t̶e̶r̶i̶a̶ picto system. It's equally impressive what they choose leave out. Nothing is included for the sake of convention here.

Here's what I played in April. Good month for finishing games I'd been chipping away at. Completely obsessed with Expedition 33 at the moment. What an immaculate game. Just wish I had a little more time to actually play it rn.

The Dirt/WRC series was special to me. Dirt Rally came out at a time when I'd had to say goodbye to being involved in motorsport, but this made me feel connected to something I loved & missed so much at the time. The love & passion Codies had for the sport shone bright in their work. RIP a legend.

Ended up going with a slightly different one than I was looking at, but got this home today. This is a piece of kit I've wanted for years, and it's gonna save so much time, straw, but especially labour. Now to park it in a shed for 7 months until I need it lol.

When doing any sort of list of games I've beaten, I never know what to do with games you can't finish i.e. sports, racing, ongoing etc.. Wondering what others do, do you count them or just leave them off entirely?

If your dog is react barking at something, yelling your dog's name followed by "stop it" etc. won't work, but it will get them more excited. Stop what you're doing, walk to where your dog is, pretend to have a look around, and then praise them.

Finished South of Midnight. A decent enough adventure, with fun traversal, cool environments, and a great art style. Ultimately, it's let down by an overly depressing tone, fairly hokey writing, and if there was a back of the box quote on combat, it would read "Features combat."
