And that's without getting into all the A//I art stuff I saw throughout the village in other shops. Posters, metal signs, coasters, canvas bags, I swear if there was a way to make A//I soap and pickled vegetables, there'd be someone doing that too. It's rough out there.

It's infuriating. Especially when you only realize after the fact. Shopped at a craft village "general store", recieved a "save 15% on the next order" card, logo at the top is an A//I slop image of a rustic cabin, nonsensically floating on a lake with asymmetrical windows. I work on the IT side of healthcare, so I wear a badge and walk around hospitals occasionally checking out workstations. People will flag me down for directions and I get to tell them, "alas, I'm lost as shit too."

I understand creators still posting to both sites when their income depends on it, and hopefully consumers who want meaningful change will try to post and interact more on Bluesky to encourage creators and give reason for them to move here permanantly.

since a large part of the Twitter userbase may be people who either don't know or don't care about Musk being a shit, either because of how they allign politically or their lack of political engagement, or because they're from a different part of the world and it just doesn't impact them.

The growth that has happened here has been encouraging and amazing, but I don't see "the big move" happening in full from Twitter unless it has an issue where it's actually down for a week or longer, forcing everyone who has to use social media to hop over to BlueSky to continue. Especially
