Lettuce, tomatoes and broccoli are sprouted. Every year we grow a big garden, enough to provide the majority of our veggies and we put up as much as we can handle processing. Much is wasted but getting this dialed in for a day, maybe soon, that we might need every calorie. #prepping #Trumpocalypse

Can you believe the price of a ski trip these days? 😄 But seriously, what a gem the Pine Street Woods in Sandpoint is. Private/public partnership free trail, maintained through donations and volunteers. While I was there two busloads of kids showed up but was able to avoid them easily. #IdahoEscape

Sooo, we're all on here cuz we're ADD, right? Just me? I have a crippling amount of cleanup to do in the honey shop. I have cleaned down most of the machinery but there's a little bit of honey left in the sump. Full barrels, empty barrels, drip buckets, mopping... Fk it. Sun's out, going skiing.

I stream @npr.org every day. I'm a recurring member of my local station but I don't do ad-free streaming. I like ads. I like targeted ads. I want to know who supports real, free journalism. But a doom story followed by, "2025 is the best time to start a new business" misses a little, guys.

Fresh 4" of powder and I can finally use the nordic skis without waddling through tree wells. Rigged myself up a little groomer to flatten out the ruts then cut through the neighbor's woods to play around on the BLM land. Such a blessing to have easy access to public land. Let's keep it public.

Office work day. Lame. Lame lame lame. This is why I hung up my Journalist notebook. I hate being tied to a desk. Oh, that and the whole 'death of objective journalism in favor of unabashed influencing' thing. Probably gonna rock these threadbare sweatpants all day tho, so I got that going for me.
