crazy that, after all this time, Mihi Forbes is still the only interviewer to question him on Atlas (as far as I can remember anyway) #nzpol #bhn

Why did the National led Government think making it more difficult for people to access housing accommodation would magically get rid of homelessness in NZ? It just moves the problem elsewhere. #nzpol www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDTA...

NZHerald's new unwritten tagline: Make gushing puff pieces about NZ's worst people great again.

Just a reminder there are TWO PARTS to this story, this sick fuck Jago AND ACT’s dogged determination to have name suppression for said sick fuck & former party president maintained PRIOR TO & during the election, from their party & the wider public. Any other political party would be torn to shreds

"Can I be more of a sycophant to the US fascist administration and let them launch all their military space junk from Aotearoa?" "Yes, I can," says Luxon emphatically as he boards his flight to Hawai'i.

AWOL NZ PM and AWOL NZ Foreign Minister #nzpol

Hmm, why is Shane Jones and Christopher Luxon doing a co-ordinated attack on banks for the *checks notes* fossil fuel industry? Oh........ Project 2025 NZ anyone? #nzpol #kiwi

Not New Zealand

For the love of god, the overweight squirrels of North London are now eating Viennese Whirls.

Up until 1979 all hurricanes were named after women - and it led to very predictable "Anchorman" like sexism - about the storms "changing their minds constantly" and worse Then an activist called Roxcy Bolton started popularising the term "himmicane" - much to the distress of misogynists everywhere

Currently working on the Coal Action Network Aotearoa submission on the Regulatory Standards Bill - submissions close on Mon 13/1 at midnight. This proposed Bill is a neoliberal wet dream that seeks to expunge all environmental protections. And the Nats are backing this Bill. Please submit! #nzpol

@suzypaty.bsky.social Bonjour!

I have made a submission on the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill. Please take the time to do this. It's so important.

I’ve just done my submission on the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill. Quick, there’s still time. Submissions close Tuesday night.

Happy new year everyone! A few random holiday snaps: - Lake Takapō - Punamāhaka/Waikāmāhaka (Moke Lake) - Waiau River - Hope Arm Moturau (Manapouri) - Upokororo (Eglinton River)

We went months without losing a single resident at work. (I work in a care home, death is never far). Since Christmas we lost 5. Same each year. At Christmas the super-spreading brats from the local primary come to entertain the elderly & infirm and BAM! Flu, gastro, COVID. It’s like a fucking cull.

I told you I only ever write one paragraph

If it helps you feel OK about throwing together a short Treaty Principles Bill submission before midnight Tuesday, here is my tiny effort. You will think of the right words. Click on the Ready button at the bottom of this NZ Parliament page: www.parliament.nz/en/pb/sc/mak...

I feel it’s my duty to repost this.

Happy new year, everyone. It has been a wild, wonderful ride these last two years. I appreciate all of the kind interactions, follows, and interest in menswear. Genuinely has added fuel to my spirit. Wishing you health and happiness in the new year. A bit of money wouldn't hurt, either. 🥂

In case you need another reason to sign up to New Zealand Geographic magazine.

In ancient Egypt, people drank low alcohol beer and wine to avoid the parasites in "raw water." The old graves, which I excavate, are full of children who died from diseases we now can vaccinate against. You are ghouls for promoting this garbage.

As per Phil's message, please reply with proposals for naming "The Day After New Year's Day". Tomorrow I'll wrangle some sort of poll to decide the favourite choice. Please share 🇳🇿
