Lastly, I just want to clarify that I'm OK health-wise and while I do have some complicating factors that will make recovery more difficult than it would otherwise be for most people, my life is not in danger, so please don't worry about my health! I'm tougher than I look. ❤️🩹

He's had some good (literary) moments. Coraline is charming, Sandman a classic. But I generally find his prose to be so painfully tedious, it makes me want to crawl out of my skin.
Interestingly, wanting to crawl out of one's skin is apparently not an uncommon reaction to encountering Neil Gaiman.
