Where was this Pope energy during the election, when he cast it as a choice between two evils?

I’m half expecting Musk to reply to this thread with: “You’ve just committed a crime.”

Maybe we shouldn’t have put literally every government agency under control of the executive branch

It would be great if states could bring articles of impeachment also. Lawrence I bet you have a running list of a couple dozen potential constitutional amendments if we ever get the chance to add them again.

@kenmartin.bsky.social please help us through this time

That can’t be the whole strategy. It can’t just be anti-Trump. There has to be a very coherent, compelling plan communicated as to what Democrats are going to do for people that positively impacts their lives.

While I appreciate you and others calling out this on social media…what’s the plan? You’re well-connected. Are Dems actively coordinating and strategizing? Are they going to do…anything?

I keep thinking how last year was all “the glob” at this time and it was not true. Doesn’t it stand to reason that a lot of pitchers overachieved last year, and thus we’ll see a lot of regression this year? We should prioritize those with longer track records of success.

They shouldn’t seek any exemptions. Don’t give up your leverage.

Hero. Try to go back to work tomorrow.

So there are then two legitimate impeachment cases already, the other one being the illegal firing of the IGs.

…& stopped funding for removing lead in our nation’s water supply and regulating PFAS chemicals.

Good. This will make for a very straightforward impeachment trial after the mid-terms. One day for impeachment and one day to convict. Done.

As a StL fan, this is awesome. Love it. Really looking forward to spending a lot of money on tickets and food this season. Great strategy. Love it guys. Chef’s kiss.

I hear you. Unfortunately there are a lot more people than you’d think that believe she is literally a demon. And thus it’s justified.

NYT gets its spine back and on inauguration day. Better late than never, I guess.

Let’s do it. Keep throwing amazing women candidates out there until one of them wins.

Hi James. I would absolutely love a timeline graphic for everything in Gods & Monsters. It seems like some plans have changed since your video last year.

Will Walcott or Wetherholt make an impact in the majors this year?

Y’all need to watch this. It’s currently the least-watched Star Wars show, which is a damn shame. It’s up there with Mandalorian and Andor in quality.

Sigh. Wouldn’t gas cars also explode? Why are you writing scripts for Fox News?

Does the free article limit ever reset?

Democrats have their first opportunity here to show they are on the side of the people
comment in response to post
Dems you will get credit for NOTHING you do. Fox News will make sure of that. Cooperation is a trap. Learn how to change the narrative, and frame things on your own terms.

We see what you’re doing, WSJ

Justice delayed is justice denied. The Senate should have convicted (blame: McConnell). The DOJ should’ve brought a case within a few months (blame: Garland). Garland should’ve been replaced (blame: Biden). The courts should’ve allowed the case to proceed quickly (blame: Supreme Court).

Zuck just royally screwed up a massive market opportunity. Instead of launching a Reels app and welcoming TikTok users, he instead alienated them by making the platform less safe and welcoming.

This after the pope kneecapped Kamala in the election by suggesting both her and Trump were equivalent evils

I view it as their values should stay the same (we agree). However strategy needs an overhaul: new younger leadership, stop moving to the right and campaigning with Republicans, embrace new media, be more authentic, etc.
comment in response to post
Two things can be true at once Dems 100% need new leadership

The HOF should form a Peak Players club. To qualify you need 5 years of near historic performance. I’d be way more interested in that than your standard 15-year veteran compiler.

Boomers overstayed their welcome and Gen X got screwed over. Time for Millennials to get us back on the right path as a country.

I’m not saying she did anything wrong. I simply worry even more about our future if all the good people quit in our media, government, and military. No easy answers here.

I’m torn on this… On one hand, good for her for having morals. On the other hand, if all good people quit then isn’t it just making things worse faster?

Too clever headline makes me wonder what the intended was 😖

Whoo boy 👀 After the last couple years, I’m not sure the NYT has any idea who their target audience is. Or how to do hard-hitting journalism that matters.

Amen. You didn’t highlight it, but evangelical churches are the final piece of this ecosystem. So…WTH can we do? I get that recognizing a problem is a first step. What’s the next step?!
