Oh wait, yeah tng was on film but the cgi wasn't, that was why it wasn't straightforward, but an old 20s movie wouldn't have that problem. It's still funny to me that something so old would have Blu-ray's for it when the quality must be pretty bad? But still it's pretty cool.

Oh that's right, Red Dwarf was shot on tape so i guess Stargate was then? But star trek tng wasn't..

It's pretty amazing you can get movies that old on Blu-ray whilst 90s TV shows like Stargate SG-1 is on DVD only. (Or it might be on Blu-ray weirdly in one country somewhere that wasn't uk or usa)

Haha, did they remake that movie? It sounds familiar but not that old familiar.

Oh oops, I meant as a child i was probably traumatized by that death 😅 But I also think I had a bit of a crush on the Ornella there hehe

It shows how good an actor he actually becomes, or you could say how versatile he is!

I probably was too!

Yes!! My mind was blown the day I realised Ken was Eddington in Star Trek DS9 if you've seen that.

Haha sounds like I'd get on well with both of you! The oldest films I have on Blu-ray are Star Trek the first motion picture, Krull and Flash Gordon. And that first trek is a bit of a slog!

High five!! Heh yes the shaved head look was weird to me too! Couldn't they have found a convincing wig at least? I did enjoy those older movies like the og Clash with the stop motion skeletons as a kid but find them too dated to enjoy now sadly. 😭

There seems to be a lot of dislike for sword and sandal movies I enjoy! Such as.. Clash/Wrath of the titans (newer ones) Gods of Egypt Pompeii

I recognised them both, it's just I'm better with remembering faces than names!

Had to look up Simon Callow, recognised him, saw he was Dickens in Dr Who and played Dickens before that, twice! Had to look up Ronald too lol, ah he's the king in the prince of Persia movie i like that nobody else liked lol.

Ha, I had similar instincts when I was playing Tony Hawks games on PS2, looking at fences and stuff i could grind on to keep a combo going..

The whole "if you like playing a game on easy that's fine" posts are getting on my nerves although I don't say anything, but I see that so many times and I haven't seen anyone on Bsky say anything bad about people playing games on easy so am I just not seeing these posts??

Nice! I always liked the song Black Hole Sun but never dipped my toes into their music, then met my wife 3 years ago and now I've heard a lot of Soundgarden and Audioslave! And remembered Rusty Cage mostly from an old Road Rash game, lol.

The film's really referring to Fox the (ass)hole

I wish he would fall into a hole and never come back out

My wife really needs to look at his discography because she loves his music and didn't know this existed! 😅 I like that artwork!

You do know games aren't made for just you, right?

Very true, to me it is just text to speech advancements. The whole AI term is misplaced for all of it anyway though, none of it is an actual intelligence as I'm sure you'd agree.

Thank you, I admire those three people, especially Patrick Stewart!

I haven't had that with Steam but I do get a lot of hassle every time I have to do a tax questionnaire again because I have to claim one of my parents is American so apparently that means I'm a foreign person living in US even though I state I live in England.

If you stretch to the right you'll have started and finished at the same time

Yeah I only saw the Harbour one once and never again, it was just okay as far as I can remember.

In what order you prefer all the movies? Mine is (and im gonna take a guess on the new one lol) 1. Hellboy 2 2. Hellboy 1 3. Hellboy (David Harbour) 4. The new shit one

I watched the trailer as it was now available on a streaming platform i was subbed to and that was enough to put me off watching it lol.

Gonna be one for me and my missus to play when I get that, we enjoyed a bunch of other side scrolling beat em up games! Not into the ip so most of that will be lost on us lol

Yep, in hard mode you would just randomly die from them shooting you, had to save every 5 seconds with multiple save files in those sections!

A new version could leave out the railguns for the enemies lol

Yeh and it's very confusing for someone like my 76 year old mother!

Thanks, I played that game to death on PS2 but find it unplayable now lol

..and dragging anywhere else from the top just showed notifications and nothing else.. just.. why?!! Fortunately it could be changed to being both things like on a regular device.

Oh! My mum needed my help with her Samsung tablet cos she had everything how she liked it and a recent update messed it all up. Couldn't seem to get her home screen icons the same way but why they made it default that to bring up brightness settings etc you have to drag the battery icon..

I would love your last two pairings! MachineGames with Red Faction (in the style of the very first game) Wayforward with Back to the Future trilogy Bitmap Bureau with Flashback

I watched Resident Alien Season 1 and 2 on Netflix only to find there's a season 3 but it's only on the Now app, so annoying. Bought a month of that now to watch it..

Wouldn't surprise me if it used to have better UI but people are paid to improve what's not broken so we always end up with worse things

(2/2) and of course they make it HARDER TO TURN BACK OFF I had to search online how to turn it off. Oh of course it's TUCKED AWAY in "other settings" which doesn't hint it will be found there. FUCK YOU GOOGLE
