Künftig sollen die Ermittler bei der Genanalyse auch die »biogeografische Herkunft« überprüfen können.
Damit hätten Staatsanwaltschaften und Polizei bei der Fahndung nach unbekannten Tätern künftig Hinweise, aus welcher Weltregion diese stammen.
