My #Lego Starry Night is finished! I loved making this ✨

If you see this, quote repost with your portrait art ✨🎨

Some art of a different kind today! I made some progress on my Lego 'Starry Night'. Can't wait to have it finished! 🌌

Can you spot Mars?? πŸ‘€ πŸŒ•πŸ”΄I captured tonight’s full Moon and Mars passing behind it! Another #astrophotography bucket list item crossed off! βœ… πŸ” Svbony Sv550 πŸ“Έ Sony A7iii #Astronomy

Here are some of my better images of "Marsrise" -- right after the end of the #MarsOccultation. Happy to say I found capture settings that simultaneously worked for both Mars and Moon. No "cheating" and stacking them separately and then copy/pasting. Enjoy! Prints available later. πŸ§ͺπŸ”

HUMAN ARTISTS, use only one piece to convince people to follow you #artshare #spaceart

I realised I never properly introduced myself since joining Bluesky! So hi πŸ‘‹ I'm a self-taught artist with a particular interest in space art, and I mainly use soft pastels and acrylics. I live in Manchester (UK), I'm a tax adviser by day, and I have a little dog called Conrad ✨

I always love seeing Amy's latest creations - such incredible talent! 😍✨

Astronomy friends, what night sky events are you looking forward to in 2025? πŸ” In 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 we've got 2 lovely total lunar eclipses (14 Mar & 7 Sept) and a 40% partial solar eclipse (29 Mar). I'm also super excited about Saturn temporarily losing it's rings in March πŸ€“ πŸ“· Kevin Earp @astrokev.bsky.social

We're nearly there! Day 23 of #ArtAdventCalendar and this is an acrylic painting I did in 2019 to commemorate 50 years since the Apollo program. There's something in there to represent every crewed mission - more details in the alt description ✨

Day 22 of #ArtAdventCalendar! This acrylic painting is called The Hand of Mission Control, and I painted it after meeting members of the Apollo mission control team at an ASF event. It commemorates all the hard work that went on behind the missions ✨

Day 21! This is a pastel pencil sketch of Ron Evans doing a deep space EVA during Apollo 17 ✨ #ArtAdventCalendar

See that bright speck? That's Venus. Photographed from Saturn.

⏰ Start your countdown clock for the exact moment of the winter solstice: 9:21am (UK) 21st Dec. This is when the Earth's North Pole is the most tilted away from the Sun during its yearly journey around it. Welcome the shortest day in the Northern HemisphereπŸ€—πŸ§ͺπŸ” πŸ“·: National Maritime Museum, Greenwich

For day 20 of #ArtAdventCalendar this is the Milky Way over one of my favourite places - Durdle Door in Dorset (soft pastels) ✨
