Since Voyager I is a little more than 23 light hours from Earth, I look forward to appreciating your handiwork around 8:18am Eastern time tomorrow morning!
OMG that is awesome gingerbread! The icing on the booms is so intricate! As an undergrad I worked for one of the science teams (after launch, during the Jupiter and Saturn encounters) so I have a fond spot for the Voyagers
I love this SO much, and cannot believe the detail in the tiny golden record.
Also, in case you’ve yet to read Beautyland, but would appreciate a lovely Voyager I connection in fiction, I talked about it in a ~250-word review recently.
Before making this, I was most impressed that NASA is still able to keep in contact with a probe launched in 1977 that has left the solar system. Now, I'm most impressed that the antennas are still intact (I experienced no less than 5 breakages).

Also, thank you for the pictures you give as a follow-up!
@swapnakrishna.com, I think you’d appreciate this!
Amazing work✌️🌟🎄✨🐺
I was going to go roll out my gingerbread dough, but now i feel like such a slacker with my unimaginative cottage.
…VERY IMPRESSIVE!
*sorry, I'll see myself out...*
Does keep the gingerbread nice and warm, though.
THIS IS HOW YOU GET GINGERBORG
Merry Christmas!
