It does indeed! As it's a naturally occurring antiseptic it has been used for millennia for its curing qualities. I've a long list of ailments honey is said to cure - some obvious & others less so! Happy to share them if there's interest! π―π«

This is one of my favourite customs associated with the bees. My father (now 85years old) also tells his bees of the passing of people close to him.
The Examiner ran a book extract on my chapter on 'Telling the Bees'....if you fancy a read!
