Unfortunately thats what fascists do. They leech onto other things that are popular in an attempt to embed themselves into that culture and become synonymous with it even (perhaps especially) when their ideals are antithesis to that culture... example being the skinheads and punk.

I used to be able to just... make my art look like how I wanted (with some angle/pose issues sometimes cause once it's down it's down) but I still don't know HOW so many effects are achieved. Digital is SO not easy

Omfg... part of my struggle now is I'm trying to learn how to do what I did in traditionals... my favorite being pastels/ink/colored pencil. The only reason I can't do physical media and am making myself struggle is because I have so much guilt at making art that essentially then just sits and rots.

The amount of people that have trouble separating reality from fiction is exasperating. The whole "anti vs pro" shipper thing is as dumb as gamergate as well with how I've heard "antishippers" (wtf that actually means) describe "proshippers" (wtf that also actually means... idek anymore)

Just had a gathering on the drive and it was fairly calm. If in the area itself... sure... but the guy had a very targeted and planed agenda that he'd been working on for a while so... unless there's a whole bunch of tiki torches heading down the street I think we're fine.

They were trying to say to not protest cause he had "No Kings" flyers in his fake cop car like everyone should be afraid, but... he had a pretty planned agenda that got interrupted, so... we weren't too worried about him at least.

Was quite a shock to wake up to. My friend who texted me about it lives right where they're looking for the guy. We're so used to things like this in this area at this point I think that fortunately everyone's being really calm and logical so far and not giving in to misinformation/fear mongering
