While many countries recognized June 8 as #WorldOceansDay since 1992, in 2008 the UN General Assembly decided that as of 2009, the day would officially be designated #WorldOceansDay. It's a day to reinforce our obligation to protect and conserve the ocean. worldoceanday.org

Most of my softball team loves weed. I like a little THC to help me do two things: 1. Sleep 2. Come up with the most brilliant ideas on how the world can be a better place and humanity can be saved in the moments before sleep. They don't load up before/during the game though, so that's good?

TCH between Gander and Benton is closed in both directions because of a serious motor vehicle accident. A towing company posted to its Facebook page at 7 a.m. to say it is now ON THE SCENE of the accident. The towing company asks people to proceed with caution when the TCH reopens. #nltraffic
