Can't trust achievements 100% because some players use third-party tools to just unlock all achievements at release date

Had no idea about El Pollo Loco, so when I tried to find the location myself in an adhd moment prompted by @philsalv.bsky.social chost web.archive.org/web/20250107..., I looked up the Fitco sign and somehow managed to find a photo with readable street signs

And the fact that it's just a version from GOG that was compressed *after* the installation and not the installation files themselves or a cleaner Steam version that I think is also DRM-free seems just sloppy

Is there a confirmation that it's Kurvitz who uploaded this? "By" field can be filled with whatever by the uploader and the actual uploader's username is "Kim Duboise" with email being on protonmail, so it seems to be an anonymous upload to me?

At a glance a lot of these lean towards full blown CMSes and require deployment, so considering that Jekyll just takes Markdown files might be worth looking into generic Markdown editors like ones mentioned here, a bunch integrate with GitHub apparently github.com/mundimark/aw...

That's seems like a separate from blog generation issue to me and more of an editor territory. www.jekyllpad.com seems promising and apparently can export directly into a GitHub repo but can probably just use any online Markdown editor with a preview and export and upload files directly lol

With every line being precisely 1 px thick in native res but there being visible gaps between segments like on O and P (and segments being visible in the first place) in higher res, it's probably not a bitmap but something like line segment data approximation of the original font if that makes sense

Seems to be based on OCR-A (look at highly specific D, G, O) with some edits like simplification of S (turns out if you attach a .gif even if it's static it gets converted into a video hence repost)

thinking about a proto blog post i have rattling around in my head, about how cohost had people with interests who basically just posted about those interests, whereas bluesky has become inundated with people who seem to have zero interests other than The News

While redrawing the graphics for this mod, I managed to identify almost every font that (I think) was used in the game, and afterwards, inspired by a great account Fontendo on Twitter, compiled the information into these images, so might as well repost them on a new platform

From the looks of it any day can be a # portfolioday as soon as someone starts the quote chain reaction

If only this account credited whoever submitted either discs (like in this case) or even screenshots that they didn't retake! This is from the official Russian retail release by Buka archive.org/details/csgo... Useless as the manifest is missing so can't unpack + it would have had CEG on it anyways

i absolutely love that one of the features promised in cohost plus subscription was just "exclusive avatar shapes", you'd think they already covered all the bases by having both "round square" and "squircle" but they were just about to invent a brand new avatar shape

The mod list. Astralathe has a fancy new in-game UI accessible via the F10 key and inside it you can find this menu, which lets you view and manage every mod you currently have installed. This has been a very long time coming, and I'm really proud of it. I've spent a while polishing it up.

10 hours in, not completely sure yet but starting to get a feeling that this game might be political
