Nothing here changing my mind.

Sometimes you have to accept it’s over. We’ve had very bad decisions, luck and injuries. But Liverpool this season (mainly Salah) have just been ridiculous. The luck has fallen their way with the fixtures at the start and things like Haaland out today. But they’ve made the most of it. Fair play.

It’s the hope that kills you, right? If Liverpool lose at City and we win against West Ham and Forest, we will be two points behind. Seems absolutely mad after how our luck has fallen this season. Funny old game. Keep the faith until the bitter end 🙏

New, long term, contracts for both managers imo.

It's a bit mad given the level of injuries we've had this season and we're on our best unbeaten run in the league in 14 years. Huge credit to the current crop of players and the manager.

Shall stand happily corrected. Merino is the new Haaland.

As expected, a truly awful first half so far. No cutting edge whatsoever. Attackers incapable of staying onside. Sterling is very much done, isn’t he? I think is gonna be a long couple of months. We look extremely flat against woeful opposition.

Arsenal are getting caught offside every time they go forward, Sterling has been done about three times now. Trossard as well. It's just so poor.

Nwaneri came on the 84th minute. He had more touches than Haaland.

HALE ENDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

You could put every drug into my body right now and they wouldn't hit like this. I'M FLOATINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! ☄️

STAY HUMBLE, CUNTO!

First time a Guardiola side has conceded five goals and also lost by a margin as high as four goals. Huge Arsenal win, in a few senses.

That was very fun. Stay humble ❤️🤍

The worst years of Arsène's Arsenal would often see hopeful seasons just sort of evaporate on multiple fronts within about a week. Just feel like the exact same thing has happened here.

And like that, Arsenal's season has gone from top to bottom. 6 points behind in the league with Liverpool having a game in hand, 2-0 down in the Carabao Cup semi final & out of the FA Cup. The failure to sign a winger or striker in the summer or in this January transfer window has cost us.

Arsenal Football Club, specialists in giving people their big day out. Entirely predictable we would go on to lose that shootout. More than 45 minutes against ten men and we barely created anything, and what we did create - was missed with conviction. What can we do.

Two home games in five days for Arsenal, and they scored a total of one goal from 49 shots (6.44 expected goals). #AFC

Don't think that could have gone worse. Out of the FA Cup, lost Gabriel Jesus to potentially serious injury, missed a load of chances, missed a penalty, played 30 mins of extra-time ahead of a North London derby, and the heartache of losing a penalty shoot-out. A disaster of a day.

1-1 at the end of ET. It's going to be penalties. Arsenal have had 6.33 xG in the last two games and we've only scored 1. Nowhere near good enough.

We've been poor but can't say we haven't had the chances. Penalty, Rice, Havertz with 2 sitters. Just not clinical once more.

Real cup-tie stuff in the second half, but this game should be over by now. Penalty miss aside, Havertz had two great chances to score, Rice should put that header away, and now we've got extra-time ahead of the derby on Wednesday. Our need for a clinical forward never more evident.

What a fantastic ball in by Tierney. 1-1 with 4 mins to go against 10 men. Who is in the box, running on to it and gambling? No one. We need a striker.

Great ball Tierney. Havertz stood on the edge. I give up
