Yes! Congratulations to our friend and fellow campaigner - @stevebraysodem.bsky.social thank you for standing up for the right to protest. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and the fundamental right that state protests can be noisy and annoying lives on.

Brexit was greatest act of economic self-harm as U.K. sanctioned itself. But our idiocy got Trumped with 🇺🇸 tariff rollercoaster. Nationalist fantasies end in economic pain. Time to choose: stability/security with Europe or race to bottom on Tump rollercoaster ride? www.nytimes.com/2025/04/13/w...

👏

Greens are definitely gaining traction in urban seats.

💥 Our research shows deep alignment with the EU on goods and services could offset the impact of Trump's tariffs on the UK economy. Listen to @pimlicat.bsky.social explain more on @lbc.co.uk 👇 www.bestforbritain.org/naomi_smith_...

Jackie Long, "You talk about keeping a cool head.. President Trump talks about countries queuing up to 'kiss my ass.' How comfortable are you doing business with a man like that?" Keir Starmer, "The US is our closest ally" #C4News

Switzerland seeks closer EU ties in response to Trump shock. Sounds like a plan www.ft.com/content/fba6...

Starmer: Why are we polling so badly? Staff: Well, we're not aligned with the mood of the country on Brexit. Starmer: It's baffling, isn't it? I've no idea why. Staff: Well, we're not aligned with the mood of the country on Trump. Starmer: So odd. Very very odd. No idea why it's happening. etc.

Absolutely damning. Seems that the British government made not attempt to find out if the Russians had interfered in the EU Brexit referendum.

Call on Starmer to accelerate a closer relationship with Europe: Support our crowdfunder and amplify the demand! www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/starmer-st...

If everyone did this, perhaps the message would start to filter up to Labour HQ...

Of course they did.

In politics nothing is ever settled nothing is ever over, you don't ever have one vote and then that's it forever. No one wants Brexit, everyone wants another vote on it. Lets have one.

Lib-Lab pact with customs union/single market the ‘price’ Labour has to pay for coalition? (This is my bi-monthly, maximum, comment on opinion polls so far out from an election!)

Absolutely @eddavey.libdems.org.uk

Since Brexit, Britain has been hit by... - Brexit - Trump 1 - Pandemic - Energy crisis - Cost of living crisis - Fallout from Russia's war on Ukraine - Trump 2 - now with extra crazy Starmer keeps telling us "things have changed". Yes, they have. 100.00%. So why not when it comes to Brexit too?!

Even bog standard EU membership would be much better than what we have now. The old status quo was swept away by Brexit. We need to measure against the new status quo of being outside of the EU. And in the dead of night we can weep into our pillows at what we once had and lost. But it's gone now.

Heaven help us

Rejoining the Single Market is worth 3x more to the UK than not buying or selling a single thing in the USA. Screw Donald Trump, get free trade.

Every single day, it makes more and more sense for Ed Davey and the Liberal Democrats to wheel out a soapbox - perhaps a literal soapbox, since he loves his stunts - and shout: "LET'S REJOIN THE EU". Not the CU. Not the SM. Go the whole hog and be done with it. Millions of people will cheer.

“That quitting the single market and customs union of our country’s largest trading partner inflicts damage considerably worse than the US hit should be screamed from the rooftops, not ignored” www.mirror.co.uk/news/kevin-m...

🚨 A survey of 5,000 voters for the TUC revealed that 66% now want closer with the EU. The TUC has joined with business groups and others to urge Starmer to rethink his Brexit red lines 🙌 Reject Trump! www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Govt may be relieved that UK faces lower Trump tariffs than others but it’s a trap. A deal with the unreliable lunatic means lowering standards, betraying our farmers and undermining trust and compatibility for any EU reset which is far more valuable to us. Let’s not fuck this up too. (Letter,Times)

I googled "Grab pussy" on my laptop, while on a public train yesterday, in order to make this video. The results reminded me why that was a mistake.

Ed Davey Has Repeated His Calls For A 'Tesla Tariff' In Response To Donald Trump's Trade War The Lib Dem leader said "tech bros" like Elon Musk should pay the price for the US president's tariffs www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/ed-dav...

The effort was great. The question should be what was the purpose of all of the UK government efforts towards the US? We never appeared to be the target, and weren't. It just looked like knee-jerk special-relationship-ism. And that's been a story of the last 9 years.

FFS, Starmer has lost the plot. Question has she started paying tax yet in the UK? Was their family not happy with the millions of pounds of contracts they got from the Tories.?

No tariffs on Russia BTW

ETA to enter UK - Cost: £10 (£16 from April 9) - Lasts: 2 years - Covers: UK only - Introduction: Already rolled out (from TODAY for EU citizens too) - RW papers: silent/supportive ETIAS to enter EU - Cost: 7 euro - Lasts: 3 years - Covers: 27 countries - Introduction: 2026? - RW papers: rabid fury

Just imagine how the opinion polls would be gushing had Starmer only betrayed the shrinking number who back Brexit? Instead competing for the right wing voters is shrinking @uklabourparty.bsky.social

Oh.

Some people complain that I'm too down on Labour. And yet this is by no means an exhaustive list... The reality: It's not that I am too quick to find fault, but that they are lightning-fast to create it. Wake up and rip the rose-tinted glasses off. Labour aren't the saviours you think they are.

Eid marks a time where family and friends gather and reflect on the bonds of community. To all those celebrating, Eid Mubarak!

💥📊 NEW POLL: Labour, Lib Dem and Tory voters all favour the government pursuing a closer UK-EU relationship in response to Trump’s tariffs. Only Reform UK voters favour sucking up to Trump. Go figure…

Elon Musk says Italians should stay in Italy and the Japanese in Japan. Then why the hell is this White European South African in North America?

I don’t believe for an instant we should accept the verdict of a pack of lies! youtu.be/E4ONDRj0Qu0

On Wednesday the UK government will start charging all Europeans £10 to visit the UK. They’ll still be allowed in for 6 months per visit, once the fee is paid. Feels a sad development and so out of tune with the idea of a UK-EU reset. #savefom #exitbrexit
