Very much like the Iraq War, somehow "I thought Elon Musk was a genius until a couple years ago" is now considered the more respectable and serious opinion than "I knew he was a fraud for a decade and was never fooled by him."

This is climate arson, yes, but also the entire value proposition of Tesla, the reason for its insane stock price, is that it would end up the Amazon of electric cars: the only real game in town. Killing off non-Tesla electric car infrastructure is a gift to Musk.

So they removed the black chairman of the Joint Chiefs in the middle of his 4-year tour, without cause, and they're seeking to replace him with a white **retired** Air Force three-star general who lacks the requisite experience as a service chief or combatant commander? Huh, how about that

Amazing book, as much about his black brother Robert and second half of 19th century America as about JMH www.simonandschuster.com/books/The-Gr...

Trump pardoned the sentence of arguably the single biggest drug trafficker in American history on his second day in office!

There have never been kings in America. The monarchy doesn't start now.

more and more stories like this www.cnn.com/2025/02/20/p...

the DOGE Nazi teens apparently had no idea that the biggest beneficiary of DEI-type programs is veterans www.cnn.com/2025/02/20/p...

Precisely what we warned about when the emails first went out.

NEW: Texas Banned Abortion. Then Sepsis Rates Soared. ProPublica’s first-of-its-kind analysis is the most detailed look yet into a rise in life-threatening complications for women experiencing pregnancy loss under Texas’ abortion ban.

In a lot of ways the ONLY political story of the last 30 years is the enormous unabating extremist lurch of the GOP and the media has spent all of its time during those 30 years trying to appease that very group

Garcia: The fact that the Trump DOJ now wants to silence members of Congress because we’re actually willing to take on Elon Musk is quite dangerous. It’s incredibly disturbing. But we’re not going to be silenced. We’ve got to push back.

This this this this THIS.

So if you criticize Elon Musk, Trump’s DOJ will send you this letter. Members of Congress must have the right to forcefully oppose the Trump Administration. I will not be silenced.

1000 workers have been fired from Dept. of Vet Affairs, including veteran Andrew Lennox who was actively serving NW Ohioans at the VA. Andrew served as a marine in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria — he, and the fellow veterans he serves, deserve so much more. The indiscriminate, illegal cuts must stop.

the whole 2020-2024 era of “dems shouldnt aggressively use the levers of power bc then republicans will do the same thing when theyre elected” sure looks dumb as dog shit right now huh

Here in Illinois, ten years ago we saw the consequences of a rampant ideological gutting of government. It genuinely harmed people. Our citizens hated it. Trust me – I was elected based in part on just how much they hated it.

Gangster capitalism. www.wsj.com/business/med...

I think Alzheimer’s is bad, and we should work on prevention, treatments and ideally cures. Sorry to get so partisan, but that’s how I feel.

The DOGE firings have nothing to do with “efficiency” or “cutting waste.” They’re a direct push to weaken federal agencies perceived as liberal. This was evident from the start, and now the data confirms it: targeted agencies overwhelmingly those seen as more left-leaning. 🧵⬇️

Musk/Trump/NYT is going to call firing IRS agents savings, but the lost revenue will be many times their salaries: this all about making it easier for rich people to cheat on their taxes.

The single biggest mistake anti-Trumpers are making in resisting DOGE is the desperation to accede to the need for reform of government. MUSK'S OWN COMPANIES are hellholes ridden with corruption and waste and violations of the law. People should be on the ATTACK against private sector misconduct.

lmfao do you know how unpopular you have to be to poll 4 points behind international aid and 12 points behind the IRS here

"They're putting persecuted Christian refugees in camps in the jungle" sounds like something Glenn Beck would accuse the Obama administration of doing and yet now it's a pillar of the Republican agenda.
