Between All Dressed and Ketchup chips I think Canada has really beaten the US in chip technology. The only counter we have is Garden Salsa Sun Chips and I'm not sure that counts. The moment you have to corrugate your chips I think you might be disqualified.

So far I've seen 3 tiers of developers using AI: Tier 1 - AI is how I code... I'm "vibe coding". Tier 2 - I use AI as a "buddy". A "coding assistant". Tier 3 - My experience is deep and hard-fought. I don't even trust AI to email my team about pull requests.

I ended stream because the Elgato capture tool I bought to capture 120 FPS is, in fact, an Elgato tool which means sometimes it just doesn't work. Rebooting the PC fixed it but I think I'm just going to take the rest of the night and probably come back first thing in the morning.

Real talk? I don't consume much gaming media outside of streaming. There's a lot of noise and little signal in the gaming space. It often feels exceptionally lazy. So it's especially sad to see Polygon fall knowing the SNR was good there.

Clair Obscur is so good that even when issues arise with it I'm willing to overlook them because it's just delivering on every promise it makes to the player so competently that I really can't get mad at it. Maybe not the best game of 2025 but a high point for the year, for sure.
