and try to avoid pup sleeping in your bedrooms - give them their new safe space, make it cosy and establish the routine early - otherwise every holiday and weekend for the next decade will be a right hassle.

Same here - except I ended up seeing how much progress I could make on a software side project using just a tablet (the 'daylight computer' which has an e-ink display to hopefully not totally stuff the rest of my sleep )

Getting a ‘Daylight Computer’ has been an eye opener.
Amongst other things it’s a monochrome 60hz refresh e-ink device - using it as a daily browser certainly gives a different view on the web
