... until Dawntrail! I REALLY enjoyed the Endwalker finale. Felt like a worthy payoff after years of investment in the game.

The main thing that irks me is when creators see alt text as a place to hide cute easter eggs or something like that. Alt text should always be used primarily as a support for people who use assistive technology.

That could make sense and be helpful! The guiding principal is to provide an "accurate and equivalent experience" to the sighted experience. If a sighted person couldn't have gathered the added details in alt text by just looking at the image then you might be breaking the equivalency guideline.

Accessibility advocate here, a few tips: 1. Yes, please always include alt text so people who use assistive tech can enjoy your content. 2. Alt text doesn't have to be exhaustive, just a sentence or two giving a quick sense of what the image is. 3. Alt text shouldn't be used to add secret lore.

The doc who performed the procedure was amazing though. It was like watching a virtuoso performance where my scrote was the piano.

I just agreed to whoever my primary care dr recommended. I was concerned at first because the handouts they gave me at the urologist were full of typos. This was a place where I was hoping to see attention to detail.

Simultaneously, I realize that there are others out there doing more meaningful and impactful resistance. When I can I try and support those people and organizations, but on a day to day basis I gotta keep going to work and focus on being good at that, and being good to those I love.

I also find it harder to be creative in this moment where things feel hopeless. I am also finding that getting lost in creative work can be a comforting distraction. Making things in a scary world is an act of resistance. Arts and entertainment are needed comforts and inspirations right now.

More love for Aseprite. It’s great! I’d also highly recommend checking out lospec.com for palettes, inspiration, and guides.
