Shhh…don’t mention the B-word. I did once but I think I got away with it.

It’s not weird. Long before Russia courted the far right to destabilize the west, the USSR co-opted the crank left. Corbyn et al are the Kremlin’s original useful idiots. It’s too painful for them to reflect honestly on this; far easier to bang on about the ills of western imperialism. Clowns.

Will it be an attractive mix of housing thoughtfully spread throughout a variety of environments or just more Bovis eyesores littered on the outskirts of towns.

By refusing to criticize either Brexit or Trump, the government loses its two most devastating lines of attack against Farage. Elephants in rooms and all that.

Un-American? The rest of the world respectfully disagrees.

The plan of waiting for the midterms seems a little shaky.

Well, all seems above board to me.

A wretched and cowed people, their futures now inescapably tied to that of the midget goblin tsar.

Yes, the pesky declining west full of upscale seafood restaurants and Audis.

I’m sure Putin will agree reasonable terms after a fireside chat with Jez.

Trump has no prior knowledge of things that were explained to him yesterday.

Drone attack? Sabotage? Critically neglected infrastructure from the 1950s? It’s impossible to say.

The Russians are really bad at keeping things not on fire.

I’d say this operation was a somewhat more effective than waving placards in front of a state capitol.

Are the Poles bored of economic success?

Except they didn’t argue against Brexit, did they? Socialism in one country and all that. Nice try though.

I wouldn’t leave that plane unattended.

Afraid to criticize Trump, afraid to criticize Brexit. Without doing one or both of these things, it’s difficult to attack Farage effectively.

Watching from Europe, the response is toothless; it needs to be unrelentingly hostile. Less of this ‘good trouble’ bullshit.

How will Americans respond to this treachery? Memes and podcasts, probably.

You may find it more effective to rage tweet this in all caps.

Are you sure you don’t want to take this opportunity to scream at imaginary facts in all caps?

The fact that these people aren’t scared to leave their homes reflects very poorly on the methods employed to oppose them.

A gentle reminder to all religious people that there is no god and your childish beliefs are fucking ridiculous.

If the USA had a sense of humour, there’d be 100,000 people on the streets of NYC dressed as Muppets.

Locally, I’d invoke the great American road trip and organise weekend anti-Trump convoys. They’d be fun, visible, stretch police resources and give people a strong sense of togetherness. People might be more comfortable joining a protest in their car than standing on a street corner with a placard.
comment in response to post
Seems like you’re gifting it to them.
comment in response to post
Why aren’t you turning any of this outrage into kinetic protest? What is wrong with you as a nation?
comment in response to post
The far right and far left beg to differ.

I wonder if the nazi orange shitgibbon will be waving these photos at Putin in the Oval Office?
comment in response to post
And Americans think that waving some placards once a month and waiting for the midterms is sufficient response.
comment in response to post
The American people certainly don’t present much of a hurdle.

Russian ‘opposition’ figures need to be challenged on their key message that this is Putin’s war and that ordinary Russians are dead against it. Anyone who understands Russia knows that the reality is actually rather depressing.
