We figured it out! The Steam version of LSL is licensed from Codemasters, which was recently purchased by EA, who maybe chose not to renew the license
The GOG versions are staying up, at least! But as with so many of these cases, it boils down to "rights nightmare"

I sometimes have the feeling most republicans have a very deep believe in god. And by very deep I mean blind. And now there comes trump who like Jesus promises a better life for the people. They don’t need hard facts or evidence since they are used to believe everything they are told in church.

Used dokuwiki a long time ago, then mediawiki, tried a view different too and now am with obsidian, but now looking for a wiki which is git-based which I can slap onto my notes 😄
