25 years ago this very evening, on Saturday 13th November 1999, BBC2 dedicated a whole night - well, just over three and a half hours - to Doctor Who. With no prospect of a new series on the horizon, it was one of the most exciting nights of the year for a 14 year old Who-mad lad. #DoctorWho
