It seems to be. The original US price was likely already forecasting for tariffs (but underestimated them). Whereas in Australia the RRP for Switch 2 games might be higher than Switch 1, they’re still cheaper than PS5 RRP

Here’s an Aussie’s take: - A $70 USD RRP PS5 game is equivalent to $110 AUD in conversion, but our RRP is $125 AUD - Mario kart world is $80 USD RRP ($126 AUD), yet we are being charged $120 AUD RRP. - So while Nintendo is going above industry standard in USD, in AUD they’re just matching ours.
