😅 We mock the things we love too.

Solid effort! What does garlic do when it gets hot? It takes its cloves off

No idea but this is hilarious and I’m sure one if your friends will nail it.

Look at the time stamps 😑

This seems like a good one 😩

“I don’t really believe in hope, or at least I don’t trust hope…But I do have faith in some kind of higher power who speaks through the grace of human beings “AT LEAST WE ARE MANY.” It was a gift of amongness from a stranger and her father. Crystalline, irreducible.”

😅 it helped me to learn 1) you own an ice cream shop 2) you live in Boston. I don’t know what the first person was talking about but your contribution made perfect sense.

😂 I feel like we need to know how many messages are missing to play this game.

I think you’re amazing.

I do get annoyed when H uses my profile and suddenly the algorithm is suggesting a bunch of anime I don’t want to watch.

You should name your profiles accordingly and outsmart the algorithm

😂 Not that I have sparkling white teeth, but I don’t run around calling myself a “Bleacher.” I appreciate the article highlights an overlap between their community and anti-semitism. It seems like there’s always a webbed connection between bigots, racists, ableism, misogyny, whiteness and idiocy.

They’re called “Bleachers” and “The Bleach Community?” My god, it’s a fucking SNL skit. WHY CAN’T THEY JUST FOCUS ON LAUNDRY?

Thanks so much!

Is this the guy who ran for office somewhere in the South but did it in a way that felt more performance-artist than politician? I’d love to know more about him. I feel like people bring him up as someone I might like but I can’t seem to find the right starting place.

(I think we were all painfully nerdy in high school 🖤)

Aargh, I forgot I promised myself I would stop using the phrase “to be fair.” Please start reading my sentence from “These are the equally hilarious, actual titles…”

You were infinitely cooler than I was in high school. It was such a weird, niche film from a very specific time in the 90s music scene. Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh wow! We used to watch the hell out of this movie in college. Half-Cocked was also the reason I became a Helium fan.

(It also weirdly reminds me of J.D Vance and his couches?)

To be fair these are equally hilarious, actual titles I found on Mr. Tingle’s website, but there is something about a human having sex with the crevice of a book that seems so AI-coded and painfully literal (digital tech enthusiasts vs vintage analog lovers)?

They ignored them, I did not. I was a reader.

My story is similar except the magazines were located at my grandma’s weekly hair salon appointment where they would wash and set her hair. Just the most upsetting content lying around on side tables against a backdrop of light gossip and a whole lotta Overland grandma culture.

Great story, Jason! Looking forward to part 2. I definitely remember one or both of those magazine covers.

It’s probably one of the most romantic movies ever. I like to film my favorite scenes (from this and other recommended movies) and then keep them in a photos folder like little love notes. Yes, the yearning. Yes.

Is this the performance artist you mentioned the other day?

This is why I love you as a friend. You and Tim Hutchings are better at puns than anyone.
