Which, by the way, isn't excusing Fry of any of the deeply problematic stuff he's said specifically around gender affirming care for kids, but it does show that the TERF In Chief is losing support

If one of her biggest "middle ground" defenders has not only stopped defending her but is actively calling her out then there's a good chance he's sensing a shift in the narrative that he doesn't want to be on the wrong side of.

It literally never occurred to me before that Fab (and Zoom) were related to Thunderbirds.

It's also worth it just for the pteranodon sequence which was planned for the original and then dropped. It's as close to horror as the JP films get.

There are some screamingly silly scenes but honestly if you enjoyed 2 there's absolutely no reason not to enjoy 3. Its got basically the same plot, dinosaurs eating people and Sam Neill, William H Macy and Tea Leoni being reliably watchable.

I mean the plot of both the 2nd and 3rd Jurassic Park films is essentially "we have come to this island and now we need to leave without being eaten" and I have complaints about that.

Me also. As long as there's some kind of internal logic and I can enjoy the ride while I'm watching regardless of whether it really makes any sense then I'm good.

But then I also really like both Angelina Jolie Tomb Raider films, so my dumb action movie tolerance levels are pretty high across the board.

Yeah, my bar for Jurassic Park/World films is pretty low. If the dinosaurs look pretty good, there are at least a few set piece chase sequences that are entertaining in the moment and there's not *too* much plot then I'm good

I don't think any of the sequels are *good*, but they all have large parts that I enjoy. Mostly the bits where dinosaurs eat people.

The constant use of "we" and "Team Red Cabin" always makes me wonder if he has actually conned anyone else to work with him or if it's just him putting on a fake moustache and pretending to be Dave From Accounting. I mean, the social media accounts would suggest that...

I've just realised I've always had her go against Vlakith pretty much straight away and never actually let her believe Vlakith's bullshit, so maybe that'd give me a more obviously evil ending.

I used to work with someone who did competitive rock climbing and he wasn't in for a bit because he'd busted up his knee (or ankle, I forget) and it turns out he did it at the end of a climb when he finished and tripped over his safety harness.

Its ok in the shade but then you get a sunny patch and it's like running through a sand cloud or something. I do keep picking up ladybird hitchhikers though.

You certainly wouldn't expect Nogel Lawson's daughter to be so vehemently pro gay and trans rights and contemptuous of the Tories and Republicans

Probably, yes. Nigella seems particularly aware of the advantages life has afforded her but how her Jewish ancestry could have led to her being somewhere else entirely and gained an understanding of those less fortunate than her because of it.

Oh I'm still right at the start. I haven't even cleared the goblin camp in Act 1 let alone gone to the creche or anything.

There's quite a few that spring immediately to mind. But then also people like Nigella Lawson and Hugo Rifkind who have come from very privileged, conservative upbringings and seem to have become genuinely liberal because of it.

But if i give Gale the crown does that mean Evil Bob will just have to say "ah well, my evil job is done here, now I shall go elsewhere and fuck up someone else's life" or can he take the place as Bane's Chosen but still give the crown to Gale?
comment in response to

Lae'zell I'm not sure really has a bad ending, or even much variation in ending either. She'll be going to overthrow Vlakith either way. But I can't have Evil Bob take the crown and as the Absolute because that means Gale can't become the God of Arrogant shits

Astarion is fine, because he can just take over the rite and become ubervamp. Wyll is assume i can make Evil Archduke without too much hassle. Minthara doesn't really have an ending so she's fine. Shart I can either have go full Shar or hand her over, depending on how annoyed I am by her.

You have to have a certain level of confidence to do an Annie Lennox cover. It's only a full on class act who manages to not only do it but do it really well

*Especially* if you bitch about it when the product you're sneezing at comes from a queer owned company or a company that is genuinely working to support Queer Rights.

Its a good thing to be aware of the companies that try to get good PR with Pride but don't follow through on the allyship (Barclays, Target, etc etc) and they should be called out on it, but being smug that you're not a corporate schill isn't a good look.

Rather than just having to delete a post you can turn off replies and quote posts or all interactions at all if you want, so it's a lot more manageable than it ever was on Twitter

I think I've just had two posts in the last 24 hours that broke containment by being reposted a few times and then steamrolling from there (and subsequently picking up a lot of new followers as well). Mind you, the option to change post settings *after* you've posted actually helps a lot too.

We saw Raitt lord knows how many years ago and I was blown away by how good she is. A brilliant voice, obviously, but just a magnetic performer on stage as well

Oh I'm 49 next week, I am definitely old enough to know the reference. On a related note, Silver Rox has been doing a whole drag kind Rainbow Brite recently too

No minifigs included in the initial submission but hopefully they'll add at least Tintin and Haddock on a display stand, but that's a gorgeous set regardless
