A government run by billionaires will never be for the people.

Last year, when I was at MSNBC, I did a 10-minute deep-dive into RFK Jr's anti-vaxxer role in the measles outbreak that killed dozens and dozens of kids in Samoa. I hope every Senator voting in his confirmation process for HHS knows about this crucial and awful story:

At this point, democrats have to concentrate on stopping the ones that will do the most damage. Forget the distraction nominees. Focus on the serious threats. Gaetz, Gabbard and Hegseth remain the most problematic.

Rep. Jasmin Crockett is always 🔥

His insane nominations... His promises to deploy the military on home soil... His threats to go after anyone who opposes him... Now, there are messages going out to specific communities threatening deportation and "re-education camps". It's by design. His objective is to fill you with fear ...

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens. Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”

Buyers beware.

I think I found a new bread recipe for Friendsgiving. I just have to convince the Kiddo. saltnsprinkles.com/blog/rosemar...

It’s recently been made clear that we should read more.

The Onion owns you bro. They can do whatever they want (and I can't wait).

Take comfort that someone somewhere will be keeping a quiet pockebook of all the criming that’s going to get crimed over the next four years. And one day, in the distant future, it’s going to catch up with them.

Good morning! I'm new hew here from several suggestions on FB. Hoping this will be just as productive & positive as Threads is. Glad to see everyone here, always looking for Sensitivity reading, not currently picking up new ARCs unless I ask for them. Thank you so much. This is do to illness in fam.

10 books I borrowed from my library. I jump in and read the first chapters of all of them--see what grabs me. So far, I'm invested in The House Witch (non-fiction witchcraft) In the Hour of Crows (Appalachia witches) and There, There by Tommy Orange Have you enjoyed any of these?
