Lol I'm all about a good sale, but fibers, fiber combos, patterns for the yarn, other people's projects for inspo with the yarn. All of the things.

Welcome back to the colorful side of life lol...those first few projects definitely are a kick in the pants on the muscles. I wear compression gloves for that reason.
I use "My Row Counter" app and sometimes GoodNotes to download the pattern and write on it digitally. What are you making?

Lol it happens like that all the time.

It's still cold here, if that matters to when I cut them. They look nothing like a head of broccoli from the store so I'd want them to get a little bigger...but I also don't see signs of bolting. (That's when flower buds start forming right)

Well said. I'm a knitting YouTuber and share my journey, but, always try to leave you all with a smile, feeling inspired, and for at least 30 minutes of the day, ignore the outside world.
I also host live knit groups so we have something to look forward to.

I casted on way more than the pattern called for so it's really scrunched on the needles.

Then I understand. You designers are magicians lol. I don't know how yall come up with intricacies and then have the patience to see it through. I applaud you 👏🏽

I firmly believe EVERYONE can learn, you just need the right set of circumstances. A teacher with patience, the right project, and patience galore. YouTube is great, but sometimes, that human voice and correction is what makes it all click. (Yes, this is a shameless plug lol)

So pretty!!! I wanted to pull out my drop spindle and start again, I wanna be one of the cool kids 🥰

Are you just learning to knit? Or are you just mentally distracted. Either way, my advice would be the same, remove perfection from your thoughts. Whatever the mistake is, it wouldn't be so glaring in a big project that anyone, but you, would notice.

I don't specifically, but wanted to a knit sweater with a pink heart in the middle for my niece. Which btw, is how I discovered duplicate stitching and became a fan lol. Intarsia effect without the annoyance

Lol hilarious!!! And totally agree...this yarn was supposed to be a long cardigan, but the directions were just a no for me. Then I started a blanket/throw and decided I wasn't going to want to hand wash soak and air dry...too bulky. So now a sweater. We'll see lol

It really is. I'm a little concerned about my yarn choice but gonna stick it through to the end.

I've never successfully done it. I thought it was so easy lol I had a mess on tangles, tension was horrible. I never tried again. But I will be this year.

Thanks for the referral. I love an easy knit project for the distracting mind. Sometimes I need a complex project to force my thoughts elsewhere, other times I need simple so that I can organize my thoughts.

You've given me permission to just do the same lol, my husband is tripping just a bit over the card table full of seed starters, but he's gonna flip out for sure when I take the dining table. Oh well, it's only about 8 weeks.

Listen!!!! This plus size knit life is TRICKY and can be expensive. If i can help someone avoid the stress of annill fitting pattern. Even though, sometimes yarn choice can make or break a project too. I just try to give you all the honest, raw details as they happen to me.

Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it. Trying to get my watch time up this year. Since I'm newly unemployed, I want to see what the internet can offer as far as alternative income.
What are you working on btw? I'm always curious.

Lol they tell me i can start certain seeds in the house, so gonna start a few, not sure how many of each thing to do, so figured two cells per plant is good to start?

Lol I understand...knitting is always my first priority. This year I wanted a decent herb garden to make medicine and things...and I want to knit in my garden space.
