We have already fell off the precipice. Now we are waiting for the rest of the country to wake up from the concussion.

Quick note: Japan’s Rating & Investment Information (R&I) is the only firm that still has them listed as AAA. Hong Kong pension is using their rating to decide because it is the last one they use to have that perfect rating for us. So yes, the big three have us at Aa+ and R&I still has US at AAA.

Side note: est population of LA city is 3,814,318 which would make it right around the 29th largest state in the US above Arkansas.

This admin is useless. Pressure needs to be applied to the sector directly to mitigate these issues. Climate change is happening. They know it. It is now a question if companies want to be prepared for it. You can keep the high standards or see your company get left behind like an 80's mall.

Yep. It is extremely disappointing this admin has conceded our future expertise and innovation for pseudoscience. My worry now shifts to where can citizens get reliable, centralized information and imminent warnings to help them make educated decisions in health, weather warning, etc...
comment in response to post
Because of the lack of education and reliability of this entire administration, has there been any talks of creating an centralized alternative space that can continue the scientific education and recommendations that we used to have? Any partnerships with other orgs and countries in the works?

This speech is the equivalent to a person teaching how to use an abacus in a room full of people with calculators.

Now the secondary issues of what was previously locked in the glacier has been now released... (bacteria, carbon, viruses, microbes, etc).

One more thing that will be developed by another country in which we will need to wait in line for...

We clearly are on our own when it comes to science and health. Time for states to initiate their own health recommendations along with a possible partnership with EU and others for up to date research and information.

Would love to see large scale gravity storage as primary storage in CA as quick transition away from chemical. Longer life span, and continued environmental safety & efficiency. 🤞

The real BIG part of this story was how Biden sold a meme coin to help pay for.... oh, wait.

Capitalistic organizations not mission based and a lack of negative reinforcement penalty policy as a guardrail? What could go wrong, right? Believing this wasn't inevitable is like believing Ross and Rachel were not on a break.

The headline should read "America self relegates to the minor leagues of innovation, Republicans celebrate the freedom to delay inevitable change"

"I think both sides are waiting to speak to the other," Hours later: "European Parliament in ‘final stages’ of talks with China to remove sanctions" I guess the line was busy when the US called?

This is the next domino to fall in the diminished global impact capacity of the US. Time travel is real folks. You are seeing a country go back to the kids table in real time.

I appreciate the idea but I feel is short sighted regarding the housing supply. There is no way out of this without also eliminating the use of housing for investment speculation and creating complementary measures like vacancy taxes and ownership limits. A house = a home ≠ portfolio asset.

Who's to say that is not the plan? If a small business is not available to buy from: Where does that consumer now need to go? Where does that owner now need to work?

3/3 The kids who once beat him got kicked out. The mean girls who laughed at him were now courtside, pretending they always believed in him. His only real goal? Revenge. Not the love of the game. Not to get better. Just to rewrite the scoreboard and punish anyone who ever said “nah, we’re good.”

2/3 When he finally got in a game, he called fouls every time he missed and hacked anyone driving past him. Next week, his dad bought the gym. Suddenly, he was “captain,” and if you didn’t pass to him, you got banned. He’d stop games mid-play just to lie about how many points he scored.

1/3 His entire system is as simple as this: There was a rich kid who couldn’t play basketball. Every day he showed up in brand-new kicks, but nobody picked him. Not because he was rich—because he couldn’t play.

Either countries called or not many called at all or retaliated. Here is the sad part - We know the person in charge of the largest economy is a habitual liar and do not know which is the truth. Either way, insiders and very large financial entities just made a ton of profit on the move.

2/2 Imagine a squirrel (the company) hearing winter (tariffs) is coming. It hoards food (inventory), creating the illusion of plenty. But when winter hits, it stops gathering and just eats what it stored—so things look good before, then slow down after.

1/2 That will also skew economic indicators in the short term. Admin will use these numbers to manufacture cognitive bias for everyday people. - ⬆️ Inventory - inflate GDP in the short term - wider trade deficit - ⬆️ Production numbers if companies boost production ahead of tariff deadlines

Society is like Economic Recession. When you finally see it, it is already here. *Recessions are only called after 2nd quarter of negative growth.
