what matters is who you are. you can pull all the stunts you want in a campaign but most people will rightly clock it as marketing. but if there's a video from 5+ years ago of you rapping under the name "mr cardamom" then that's a real thing people can relate to in some way. it's fun and humanizing.

zohran never resorted to condescending to people or trivializing his image with vapid memes and stuff, he stuck to a real message that he was able to consistently put forward and talk about in detail. he demonstrated that he cared about real issues that people were going to be facing.

i also dropped it (it was much smaller) on the subway platform on my way back and didn't see until the doors were closing so some people probably got an amusing surprise on the platform. i also gave myself a terrible headache by doing all that so i had to nap for 3 hours when i finally got back home

however, i would ABSOLUTELY watch a miniseries about a mob boss unknowingly teaming up with a rebel spymaster posing as an antiques dealer to go treasure hunting. that is exactly the kind of thing that would work as a spinoff, tonally, and i'm sure it would be incredible if gilroy did it.

after a couple of follow up questions he realized he wasn't sure about what he read since it was sort of just in passing, but my immediate thought was that since he'd watched s2e1 he meant how luthen and sculdun got the chandi merle, but that wasn't it, he meant something with cassian specifically.
