Art, planet, universe, humanity, grow your own - you're gonna need it Briton, aethist, anti-greed, less is plenty. Anti-nimby, it's not yours, it belongs to your grandchildren. I limit how many I follow to reduce timeline clutter. Sorry.

This has always been expected IMO If the Dems had won it would have been less likely, but they really should have deal with musk whilst in govt. That they didn't says they are probably as deeply entwined as the Rep's

here's a story of developers just completely ignoring, planning process, local authority, and quite frankly taking the piss. There should be a mechanism where they now have to hand the land and buildings to the local housing authority. That'd teach 'em www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I remember my disabled friend being confronted by a customer in M&S and told that she wasn't disabled enough to use the disabled toilet. I've never been in one of their poxy shops since

Not that facts & reality mean anything anymore, but here we go…

We are Europe not an extension of the US. Our choices.

Repairing harm done to wildlife and environment by people 'enjoying' their area. A small piece in the greater scheme, we need to do so much more, but every little counts. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

"GB News" does not speak for Britain - pass it on... www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/stop-gb-news

Thinking that your disabled neighbour not getting PIP any more would fix the country is like rich people thinking you could afford a house if you cancelled Spotify I said what I said

🤮

We need energy, so therefore, the question is, can we repurpose farmland in a way that has dual benefits, e.g., solar farm with an increase in biodiversity on site. The answer is a clear yes. PEOPLE just don't like SEEING solar panels, but they are OK with a biological desert called 'farmland'

Honestly, I think you have to just laugh at this guy. He's so deep down the weirdest rabbit hole. Equating putin with "true communism" "If putin says something you know it's true" 🤣🤣🤣

Never accept a nimby's word "The common belief that solar panels not being recyclable is, therefore, a myth. It is, however, a process that needs time to be widely implemented and requires further research to reach its full potential" www.greenmatch.co.uk/blog/2017/10...

No surprises there, the kgb's very own 'golden' boy 😉

The obvious response is to move your banking somewhere else. Consumerism is the lifeblood of corporates. Reduce your consumption, reduce your carbon footprint, take back as much control as you can.

Joined up thinking/planning. Housing with renewable energy supplies. This is being built on a mix of land, a racecourse, and agricultural. nimbys will tell you that this can't be done because solar panels can't be recycled etc Utter tosh www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

We are stuck in a doom-cycle of consumerism and nimbyism. I can point to 2 solar farms in the same area, one agreed, the other rejected. 1. is next to a SSSI, on unimproved grassland with a flooding risk. Power goes to a holiday park. 2. is on marginal farmland and would supply power to homes..

Yup. It's putin in orange

Donald Trump is the President of the United States and the Spokesperson for Vladimir Putin. Only we in the UK and Europe will protect Ukraine.
