Sometimes I wonder if podcasts have been worse for independent music than the major labels. It all competes for your ears’ attention. Podcasts are long and often mindless, and that might just be an “easier listen” for most folks than some random alternative artist expressing themselves.

re: AI Be weird as hell. Subvert expectations with your art / music / whatever you make. Put your heart and sweat into it. Challenge yourself to make something only you can make, something the bots cannot replicate. Give people a reason to have hope that humans can still make original things.
