I know! We actually voted as a class to give up on it (how fortunate we were in our teacher! ) when I was 11/12. Though we ended up with Animal Farm....!

I am finishing off Night after Night by Phil Rickman and then I will be moving onto Doris Lessing! Slight change of pace π

π€£ Interesting! Are you hoping to convert yourself to being a hardback reader then, or have you bought them only to adore (I love staring at my books when I'm not reading one!)?

Sense and Sensibility or Persuasion are my other favourites. If you must have more of the Darcys, I recommend Death Comes to Pemberley by PD James or the series by Carrie Bebris π

It is! It is my favourite of hers. I love how it relates to the (based on real events) plot too.

Interesting! I would go for it being boiled (maybe in a bag of some description) with plain new potatoes and very little veg! Fish and chips sounds a bit too racy π€ (I have to confess I know nothing of Jane's personal tastes in food though!)

Have to admit I had to go and hunt down the BrontΓ« box as I was excited to hear that was even a thing! They will be a beautiful start and I am slightly envious! π

Yes it is - and I agree π. I would love them all but currently only have this one and Jane Eyre. I did make myself a bookmark to imagine what my shelf might one day look like...

Oh yes, read this when it first came out and have re-read several times!

Re-reader! Each time a new book in a series comes out I also need to re-read the previous books. I love revisiting; I get more from them each time.
